It’s going to make for a fun Week 14.

College Football Top Early Week Picks (Week 14)

Michigan Wolverines vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

The Oregon Ducks clinched the Big Ten Championship last week. However, Ohio State hasn’t. The Buckeyes took care of business against Indiana last week and will need to defeat Michigan to clinch their spot in the Big Ten Championship game.

These Ohio State-Michigan games are always insane. But luckily for Ohio State, the Buckeyes are home and heavy favorites.

Michigan would love to knock off Ohio State and put them into misery. After a 50-6 win over Northwestern, the Wolverines are likely confident heading into this game. But they probably shouldn’t be. After all, even in the win against Northwestern, Michigan’s Davis Warren didn’t throw for 200 yards and added one passing touchdown with one interception.

The run game was excellent at home. But that will likely change against Ohio State, which has allowed just 90 yards on the ground per game.

Ohio State starts games from behind for whatever reason but never looks back. When the Buckeyes had a chance to kneel for a victory against Indiana, the Buckeyes decided to run into the endzone to boost the score. It’s Ryan Day being insecure about his program. But we’ll use that to our advantage. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes fanbase hate Michigan for what’s transpired over the last couple of seasons.

They’ll win this game by 21+.

    Pick: Ohio State -20.5 (-110)

    Miami Hurricanes vs. Syracuse Orange

If the Miami Hurricanes win on Saturday, they’ll play in the ACC Championship game against the SMU Mustangs.

However, Miami lost to Georgia Tech two weeks ago and only led Wake Forest by six heading into the fourth quarter last week. Nothing is a given. The Hurricanes certainly have one of the best offenses in the nation. Cam Ward is still in the Heisman conversation after throwing for 3,774 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Miami has scored 44.73 points per game and has added 360.18 yards in the air with another 181.27 yards on the ground.

That said, Syracuse can certainly stay the course at home against Miami. Kyle McCord has thrown for 3,946 yards and 26 touchdowns. He’s been a bit more erratic, but he’s coming off a 470-yard passing game against UConn, where he threw two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Syracuse has averaged 31.73 points per game and should be able to compete in a shootout against Miami.

There’s no reason Syracuse should be a 10.5-point underdog on the road.

    Pick: Syracuse +10.5 (-110)
