Week 15 Best College Football Player Prop Bets & Picks
Let’s dive into our top college football Championship Week player prop bet picks for this weekend’s slate of games.
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Cameron Skattebo (RB – Arizona State) Over 120.5 Rushing Yards vs. Iowa State (-114)
Arizona State's Cam Skattebo has rushed for 1,398 yards and 17 touchdowns this year (he has 19 total touchdowns). And unlike many players who padded much of their non-conference statistics, Skattebo took off when the Big 12 competition started.
Skattebo has run for 147-plus yards in five of his last seven games. Even in one game in that span, where he was held to just 73 yards, the coaching staff still insisted on trying to establish the run. He saw 25 carries, which is tied for his third-highest this season.
Skattebo has a juicy matchup against a Cyclones defense that has allowed more than five yards per carry (ranks 112th) and ranks 96th in rushing yards per game allowed (173.7).
Carson Beck (QB – Georgia) Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns vs. Texas (-130)
Carson Beck has been on a tear the last three games, posting an 11-0 TD-INT ratio. His 11 passing touchdowns in that span are tied for the most among all FBS quarterbacks.
The Longhorns defense may have allowed a season-high 30 points in the regular season matchup with Georgia, but they clearly had answers for Beck.
Beck completed just 56.1% of his passes (his second-lowest completion percentage this season) and averaged 4.3 yards per attempt while throwing zero touchdowns and three interceptions.
Beck's poor performance came despite Texas getting home for just one sack in that game, and one can expect the country's second-ranked scoring defense and third-ranked total defense to amp up the pressure in this matchup.
Brashard Smith (RB – SMU) To Score 2+ Touchdowns vs. Clemson (+190)
SMU running back Brashard Smith has scored at least one touchdown in nine of 12 games this season (including five straight), and multiple touchdowns in five games.
The Mustangs have ridden Smith on the back end of ACC play, as he had 16 carries in each of the last five games and three or more receptions in four of the last five.
Smith is a bulldozer, averaging 3.5 yards after first contact. He is a great value play to find the endzone twice against a Clemson defense that ranks outside the top 100 in broken tackles allowed and is one of the worst-ranked FBS defenses in Defensive Rush EPA.
