College Football Week 2 Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions
After a fantastic Week 1 of College Football, we’ve got more action in Week 2.
Colorado takes on Nebraska, Alabama faces Texas, Iowa plays Iowa State and Ole Miss battles Tulane in a top-25 matchup. Texas A&M’s matchup against Miami is also very intriguing.
Here are some player props in those marquee matchups for this week’s slate:

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Travis Hunter Over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
His coach called him the Heisman Trophy winner in the middle of a Week 1 game against TCU.
Travis Hunter plays wide receiver and cornerback for the Buffaloes. After his performance last weekend, he’s become one of the most notable names in college football.
Hunter added 11 catches for 119 yards on offense. Meanwhile, he added a clutch interception and another deflection on defense in Colorado’s dominant win over TCU. Hunter might eventually burn out. But he didn’t show any signs of slowing down in the 100-degree heat in Forth Worth, Texas, last weekend.
The Buffaloes added 38 receptions against TCU but only rushed the ball 34 times. Colorado’s offense is lethal in the passing game behind Shedeur Sanders, who went 38-for-47 from the field with 510 yards passing.
If Hunter is targeted at least seven times, he should get over 70.5 receiving yards.
Cade McNamara Over 194.5 Passing Yards (-114)
Cade McNamara dropped back 30 times against Utah State last week for the Iowa Hawkeyes. McNamara is a transfer from Michigan and is finally a reliable quarterback in the Iowa Hawkeyes’ system.
I know Iowa State’s secondary is good. But the pass rush could use some help. Meanwhile, Iowa’s pass protection should be one of the best in the Big Ten. If McNamara gets time in the pocket, he’ll deliver.
McNamara doesn’t have the most insane receivers. But Luke Lachey added seven catches for 73 yards. Meanwhile, Seth Anderson, Lachey and Nico Ragaini all have the potential to break out for big plays in the passing game.
Take a shot on McNamara. I don’t think 195 yards is a lot for a Big Ten quarterback of McNamara’s caliber.
Jalen Milroe Over 52.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Even against Middle Tennessee State, QB Jalen Milroe led Alabama in rushing yards, with seven carries for 48 yards. He averaged 6.9 yards per rush and scored two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, RB Jase McClellan added 10 carries and averaged just 3.9 yards on the ground. Roydell Williams also averaged 5.1 yards per carry on seven rushes.
Milroe will make plays on his feet. He’ll have designed runs and scramble for some big yardage. The Longhorns are big up front and will give Alabama’s offensive line a run for their money. After all, Alabama didn’t play well in pass protection against Middle Tennessee State.
I think that plays into Milroe’s favor of rushing the football.
