Brady Cook Over 277.5 Passing Yards (-114)

The LSU Tigers have allowed 429.4 yards per game on the defensive end.

The secondary is depleted, with multiple players either injured or unavailable due to undisclosed reasons. Either way, the LSU defense allowed 55 points to Ole Miss while allowing 414 yards passing. Ole Miss completed 27-of-38 from the field and added 10.9 yards per pass.

Why can’t Brady Cook do the same?

Missouri has averaged over 300 yards per game in the air. Cook has thrown 11 passing touchdowns and no interceptions while adding nearly 1,500 yards passing in five games. Cook is playing at a high level. Take him to earn at least 278 yards passing.

Dillon Gabriel Over 0.5 Touchdowns (+140)

Unlike many, I like Oklahoma to escape the Longhorns at home as a slight underdog. Texas hasn’t played a legitimate quarterback like Dillon Gabriel. They’ve played a bunch of backups and Jalen Milroe.

On Saturday, they’ll have to take on Gabriel, fourth in the FBS with an 89.4 QBR. He’s also thrown 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions for close to 1,600 yards. However, he’s also terrific on the ground. Gabriel has earned three rushing touchdowns in his last two games on 19 carries.

What I’m getting at is that Oklahoma will be around the endzone a lot. Gabriel will sneak one in himself.

Jawhar Jordan Under 75.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Jawhar Jordan has blown away his competition so far. He’s added 510 rushing yards on 66 carries with six touchdowns for a rate of 7.7 yards per carry this season. However, don’t expect that to continue against Notre Dame.

Last week, Jordan ran 16 times for just 32 yards. He averaged two yards against North Carolina State and had a long run of just eight yards. When he faced a legitimate defense, things went downhill.

Jordan will likely see about 16-18 carries, but he’s facing a Notre Dame defense that has looked fantastic against the run. Sure, they’ve missed some tackles. But ultimately, the run defense has been great this season. The Fighting Irish have only allowed 271 yards in total offense as a team. Most of Louisville’s offense will have to come in the air.
