College Football Week 6 Player Props & Bets (2025)
Surprisingly there is just one matchup of two undefeated FBS teams on the Week 6 college football slate, as expanded conferences and teams looking to beef up their non-conference schedules have caused many teams early slip-ups. I analyze that matchup of two unbeatens between Texas Tech and Houston with one of my three best college football player prop bets.
Let’s dive into our top college football Week 6 player props for this weekend’s slate of games.

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Jeremiyah Love Under 30.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love has been on a tear the last two weeks, following up a career-high in rushing yards against Purdue with a career-best 70 receiving yards against Arkansas.
Though Fighting Irish quarterback C.J. Carr has a high O/U of 263.5 passing yards, I expect Notre Dame to attack Boise State more often on the ground. The Broncos just held an Appalachian State passing attack that ranked third nationally entering last week to 65 yards passing, and just two yards in the second half.
The Fighting Irish could also be more conservative in their offensive approach considering Boise State recorded two pick-sixes last week. In the process, the Broncos became the first team to record three interceptions, five sacks, and hold an opponent to under 100 yards passing (they are also just the seventh team to do so in the last four seasons).
Behren Morton Over 262.5 Passing Yards (-114)
Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton was forced to leave the team's win over Utah with a neck injury, but after last week's bye, he has had two weeks to heal.
Morton leads the No. 2 scoring offense in the country at 52 points per game, and his arm is the biggest reason for its FBS-leading 368.5 passing yards per game (nearly 17 more than the next-closest team).
Texas Tech's passing attack is difficult to stop because of how well it spreads the ball around. The Red Raiders have five players between 200 and 260 receiving yards on the season, including three wide receivers, a tight end, and running back.
Houston's defensive coordinator from last year, Shiel Wood, is now a part of the Texas Tech coaching staff. Even though the Cougars still rank 11th in pass defense while holding opponents to 140 pass yards per game in his absence, they have not seen a passing attack as explosive as Texas Tech's this year.
Carson Beck Longest Pass Completion Over 41.5 Yards (-115 at bet365)
Miami quarterback Carson Beck has finished just one of four games this season with his longest pass completion being longer than 40 yards. However, this is a great opportunity to buy low against a Seminoles defense that faced 48 rushes against a methodical Virginia offense last week, with only one pass play going longer than 21 yards.
Florida State predominantly plays a quarters zone defense on dropbacks. Against that coverage, Beck and Miami have generated explosive plays on nearly one-fourth of their passing attempts, while having success (as defined by the Success Rate metric) in three of every four throws.
