Milwaukee Brewers vs. Washington Nationals
- Leg 1: Christian Yelich Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
- Leg 2: Sal Frelick Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
- Leg 3: Carlos Santana Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)
The Nationals will start Josiah Gray for tonight’s matchup against the Brewers. Gray has allowed a .250 ISO and wOBA of .452 to his last 59 left-handed batters. He’s also struck out only 15.3% of lefties and has allowed 48.8% of hard contact to lefties in that span.
Christian Yelich has a .309 ISO and wOBA of .445 against righties over the last 30 days. He’s also struck out only 9.5% of the time. Meanwhile, Sal Frelick has smacked a .174 ISO and wOBA of .395 against his last 32 righties, and Carlos Santana has hit a .286 ISO and wOBA of .376 against his last 66 righties.
Gray rarely earns many whiffs and swinging strikes against lefties. He’s also allowed plenty of hard contact against lefties over the last month.
Let’s stack those lefties against Gray tonight.
Parlay Odds: +782
Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago Cubs
- Leg 1: Cody Bellinger Over 0.5 Home Runs (+440)
- Leg 2: Mike Tauchman Over 0.5 Hits (-240)
- Leg 3: Ian Happ Over 0.5 Hits (-210)
Cody Bellinger has a fantastic matchup against Ben Lively of the Reds tonight. Lively has allowed a .385 ISO and wOBA of .452 against his last 29 lefties. He’s also allowed a .260 ISO and wOBA of .348 against 133 lefties this season.
Cody Bellinger is a left-handed hitter, smacking a .310 ISO and wOBA of .479 against righties over the last 30 days. Bellinger has also limited strikeouts to 7.7% in the previous month against righties and should put some hard-hit balls in play and over the wall.
Other lefties with potential include Mike Tauchman and Ian Happ. Tauchman has hit a .176 ISO and wOBA of .357 against his last 76 righties, while Happ has smacked a .151 ISO and wOBA of .319 against his last 66 lefties. We’ll need both lefties to earn at least one hit in tonight’s game.
Lively has earned 17.2% of strikeouts against lefties and has given up more fly balls and line drives than ground balls over the last month. He’s also allowed a 42.9% hard contact rate against lefties in the previous month.
The right-handed pitcher won’t earn many swinging strikes and hasn’t had many whiffs against lefties. Lively has also allowed a 9.5% barrel percentage from righties, above the average.
Parlay Odds: +934
