MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (5/7)

We've had a bit of an unlucky start with some pinch hitters ruining parlays and late game trouble, but it's a marathon, not a sprint. That's why I'll remind you that hitting parlays is hard and not something to expect any given night. I'll be coming at you weekly with my favorite same-game parlay (SGP) picks of the day. Last year was a decent season, finishing slightly above the money at the end of the 2024 campaign.

Remember, SGPs are high-risk/high-reward, so you aren't going to hit them frequently, but when you do, it's an incredible feeling. I'll come at you with multiple legs of my favorite SGPs, but remember to shop around. Many sportsbooks have different MLB odds and boosts for any given SGP. Sportsbooks love it when you bet parlays, so you might as well take advantage of whatever boosted odds they have to offer. Let's get to it.

New York Mets vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

I don't want to spoil anything, but I am leaning on the New York Mets to dominate tonight’s game. The heavy hitters will be out tonight as Pete Alonso has homered three times against Merrill Kelly in his career, with a .938 slugging percentage. Juan Soto has experienced 16 at-bats against Kelly, and Jeff McNeil has two homers off Arizona’s starter.

On the other side, Kodai Senga has been deadly with a 1.38 ERA this year, and no one in the opposing lineup has even tallied an extra-base hit off him, let alone seen him well. After a poor offensive outing yesterday with only one run, I expect a bounce-back performance today from an experienced Mets offense against Kelly and the 24th-ranked bullpen in the league.

Parlay Odds: +450

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins

This may seem like it's a bit out there, and the combined SGP odds are +550, but if there's a time for the Marlins to win against the Dodgers, it's at home against a pitcher with a 10.38 road ERA this season. Now, it's only from two appearances, but Landon Knack doesn't seem to have his stuff yet early on as he tries to get his control right. Marlins starting pitcher Valente Bellozo hasn't exactly been great either, but that's the risk we're running here.

No Dodgers hitter has faced Bellozo before, which helps and might take them a bit to get their bearings. Miami has performed better at home, and I'm hoping their offense, backed by Kyle Stowers and a struggling Knack, can put them over the hump and take down a win.

Parlay Odds: +550
