Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Paolo Banchero Over 18.5 Points (-128)
Paolo Banchero has played two games since returning to the court. In those games, he’s scored nine and 16 points, while playing fewer than 25 minutes a night. However, with Franz Wagner unavailable and the Magic playing in the NBA Cup, you’d have to expect Banchero to earn more minutes in this one. Plus, he’s set to face a Knicks team ranked 26th in points allowed to power forwards this season.
Over the last eight games against the Knicks, Banchero has averaged more than 20 points. He’s also added at least 19 points in five of his previous eight games. That said, in his last game against the Knicks, he earned fewer than 25 minutes and still found a way to score 16 points on 11 field-goal attempts.
So far, over the last two games, Banchero has shot below 40% from the field. But he’s hit 46% from the field in the previous 10 games. It’s only a matter of time until Banchero starts to play like himself again.
Josh Hart Over 5.5 Assists (-114)
Josh Hart finished with only one assist against the Magic in 34 minutes on Sunday. However, he’s recorded at least six assists in six of his last eight games. While Hart had only one assist against the Magic, he finished with nine potential assists. His teammates didn’t execute when he gave them the ball. But over the last 10 games, he’s hit this line in six of them. Hart recorded 8.3 potential assists per game to get there. In that game against the Magic, he had nine assists, which is right on line.
With another nine potential assists tonight, he’ll be much closer to six assists. Plus, the Raptors rank 29th in assists allowed to shooting guards. Hart could earn 10+ potential assists in this one. Typically, his teammates knock down shots. The last game was just an outlier. Take Hart to tally at least six assists in tonight’s game against the Raptors.
Immanuel Quickley Under 3.5 Rebounds (-106)
Former Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley has added at least four rebounds in just one of his last six games. He’s earned no more than one rebound in two of his previous three games.
To make matters worse, Quickley is taking on a Knicks team ranked third in the NBA in rebounds allowed to point guards. Quickley has averaged 6.2 rebound chances over the last 10 games. But he’s had no more than five in two of his previous three games. He’s also averaged just two rebounds per game in his last four games against the Knicks, missing out on four rebounds in all four of those games.
It’s hard to trust Quickley on the glass against the Knicks. Take his under.
