Top 5 WNBA Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks: Thursday (6/13)

We are back with another night of WNBA Basketball. There are three contests tonight with a pair of games at 7 p.m. EST. Following that we have one last matchup tipping-off later in the evening, between the Las Vegas Aces and the Phoenix Mercury starting at 10 p.m. EST.

The Seattle forward has fallen way short of this point total over the last two games and looks to return to form against a Dallas team that has failed to discover a defensive anecdote for stopping the opposition from scoring.

The Wings are second in opposing field goals made with 31.7% (only .04% away from the highest), third in opposing field-goal percentage, allow the second-most points and allow 40.1 points in the paints (worst in the WNBA).

Before the last two contests, Ezi Magbegor averaged 14.4 points per game, which includes scoring at least 13 points in seven out of eight games.

The Storm forward has also surpassed 12.5 points against four of the five highest-ranked teams in pace. Tonight they face the fourth-ranked Dallas Wings.

Caitlin Clark was unfortunately sent to bed early last game against the Connecticut Sun, after picking up her fourth foul in the third quarter. Besides the foul trouble and 37% shooting from the field, the rookie from Iowa wasn't having a terrible game.

In only 22 minutes, she scored 10 points, knocking two three-pointers on five attempts.

Tonight, the Indiana guard gets an Atlanta Dream team coming off an unexpected 19-point loss to the Washington Mystics; giving them their first win of the season.

This means the pace tonight could be torrid, and Clark will be looking to bounce back from a foul-riddled performance and reduced playing time.

The Fever guard is averaging 1.5 three-pointers per game, though she has knocked down at least 2.5 bombs from beyond the arc in six out of 12 games.

Atlanta allows 8.0 three-pointers per game, while Indiana connects on 8.4 shots from deep each contest while averaging 25.1 attempts.

The Aces are currently on a three-game losing slide, and will also be looking to get back into the win column in a contest that we feel has a fantastic chance of being the highest-scoring game tonight.

A’ja Wilson has scored 28 points or more in seven games straight. She has exceeded this total eight times in 10 games. One of those games where she fell short was against Phoenix. In their first matchup of the season she had a much better outing with 30 points.

The Aces and Mercury rank fourth- and fifth-worst in field goal attempts, second- and fifth-worst in pace, and they own two of the top six worst defensive ratings across the league.

Las Vegas owns the third-highest true shooting % in the league, with Phoenix allowing the second-most field-goal attempts to opponents. Wilson also possesses a 32.7% usage rate on the season and will most likely take the most shots on her team.

The Mercury guard is enjoying a sensational season scoring baskets, and has even shown moments of clutch late in games when the team needed it most.

Through the first 12 games of the season, Kahleah Copper is averaging 24 points on 44% shooting from the field. She is also reaching career-highs in average minutes played (32.0) and three-pointers made (2.8).

Copper is another player who owns the highest usage rate on the team with 32.8%. That may decrease a tiny bit with the addition of Brittney Griner over the last two games. However, this return has resulted in an increase in scoring with 34 and 29 points.

Considering the suggested pace of the game, we expect a ton of shots and opportunities for the recently named first-time Olympian.

Brittney Griner is back in her third game. After a first outing where playing time was monitored, she saw only 22 minutes on the floor. However, the Mercury forward absolutely smashed in the last contest.

With 24 points scored on 11-out-of-16 shooting, the returning superstar was a major component in a double-overtime win against the Minnesota Lynx and their stringent defense.

The re-emergence of the high-scoring forward is a much-needed addition to a Phoenix squad ranked in the lower half of the league in points scored.

As stated previously, we are expecting this contest to be a high-scoring affair. Griner shoots at an extremely efficient rate and is likely already the second option on a team that likes to push the pace.
