UFC Fight Night London Odds, Preview & Betting Guide: Curtis Blaydes vs. Tom Aspinall (2022)
This weekend, the UFC will be back in Europe with UFC London, featuring 14 fights with at least one fighter from the continent, including eight Englishmen (+ Molly McCann). Tom Aspinall, a 29-year-old heavyweight, is ranked number six in the rankings, and a win here would move him directly into the top five with a victory over Curtis Blaydes, who is ranked number four.
Letâs take a closer look at the main event of the evening and where the value remains.

Betting Profile: Curtis Blaydes (16-3-0)
Last Five Fights (W-W-L-W-W)
Joining the UFC in 2016 with the first-fight loss to current champion Francis Ngannou, Blaydes has fought a whose-who of the division, with his only losses coming against Ngannou (2) and Derrick Lewis; all three of which ended via TKO/KO. Since his most recent loss to Lewis in February of last year, Blaydes has rattled off two straight wins and comes into this fight the more battle-tested fighter.
Betting Profile: Tom Aspinall (12-2-0)
Last Five Fights (W-W-W-W-W)
As for Aspinall, the young Brit joined the UFC in the summer of 2020 and has since rattled off five straight wins, all of which have come inside two rounds. The wins have extended his streak to eight, going back to May 2016, when he lost via DQ in a lesser-tier promotion.
Bottom Line
Coming into this fight, I wanted to find a way to take Blaydes, given his track record in the UFC and Aspinallâs relative newness against top-tier fighters. A deeper dive, however, wouldnât allow me to do that. Aspinall will enter the octagon on Saturday with significant edges in striking (2.04 knockdowns per 15 minutes vs. .20) and grappling (2.04 submissions per 15 minutes vs. 0).
He also comes into this fight with a 100% takedown defense and accuracy clip, the highest in the heavyweight division. With recent wins over Volkov and Spivac, Aspinall has aced every test in the UFC thus far, and I see him passing yet another Saturday at home in London.
Best Bet: Tom Aspinal (-135 via DraftKings)
