Browns vs. Eagles
The eyes of the NFL world will be on this matchup Thursday night as a standalone game. It will be interesting to see if the Eagles play their starters much or at all, but if last year is any indication, they’re likely to sit. The Eagles gave the Ravens perhaps their biggest scare in seven years, falling by just one to the preseason juggernauts. The Browns already announced Dorian Thompson-Robinson will be getting his first start. In two games, he’s 17-21 for 184 yards and 2 TDS with 0 INTs and has been a bit of a breakout star. He has a very real shot to make this Cleveland roster, as the quarterback room behind Deshaun Watson is still unclear. As much as I love the depth of this Philadelphia club, I just cannot see them putting forth the same effort as they did Saturday in what felt like a preseason Super Bowl for them. I’m going to ride the hot hand of Thompson-Robinson and back the Browns in this contest.
