2024 NCAA Tournament Final Four PrizePicks Player Predictions
Zach Edey (C – Purdue) More Than 40.5 Points + Rebounds
There is nothing the Wolfpack can do to slow down Edey. He has scored at least 23 points and pulled down at least 14 rebounds in every game this tournament. He's cleared this number in three of his four games, and the only time he didn't was when he played just 27 minutes in the Boilermakers 106-67 win over the Utah State Aggies.

DJ Burns has been great for the Wolfpack this tournament, but against Edey, he's going to get in foul trouble early and be overmatched for the entire game. Even if the Wolfpack somehow wins this game, Edey is likely to score around 30 points and with how he's been rebounding, he will easily get into double figures again tonight.
Tristen Newton (G – UConn) More Than 6 Assists
The Huskies have so many different players who can score, that it's hard to know whose point total to take even against a weak defensive team like the Crimson Tide. Newton is the Huskies' leading scorer, but he scored just five points in their win over the Illinois Fighting Illini, and he hasn't scored more than 20 this tournament.
However, he is the team's leading assister, and in a game where the Huskies may score over 100 points, it wouldn't be surprising to see him get into double figures in the category. In back-to-back games, Newton has recorded five or fewer assists, yet he's still averaging 6.1 per game, and he has eight or more in three of his last five. Tonight's game may not be closer than any other in this tournament, but there will be so many points that Newton is bound to hit this over again.
Mark Sears (G – Alabama) More Than 2.5 Three-Pointers
Sears has been shooting incredibly well this tournament. In the Crimson Tide's Elite Eight win over the Clemson Tigers, he knocked down seven of his 14 three-point attempts on his way to 23 points. It was the third game of the NCAA Tournament in which he made at least three three-pointers.
The Huskies are the best defensive team he has faced this tournament, but that won’t stop him from hitting this over. One of the big reasons is that he has been attempting a lot of deep shots during the tournament. He's attempted at least six threes in every game, and he's attempted 11 or more twice. He's shooting 44.7% from deep, but even if he cools off, he will attempt at least 10 threes tonight. When he does, at least three of them are falling.
