Happy Valley Hoopers vs. Eberlein Drive
Expect a masterclass in shooting when the Happy Valley Hoopers and Eberlein Drive square off in this quarterfinal matchup. At 39.8% from deep through this tournament, the Happy Valley Hoopers have torched the nets. Their 89 PPG is the best mark of any team remaining in this contest. They’ve ridden this hot shooting so far, but they meet an Eberlein Drive team who is a near copy. At 41.3% this is the only team that reached the quarterfinals with a better 3P% than Happy Valley Hoopers. Team Colorado has had a more challenging route, winning by four, four, and three points. While that makes them more battle-tested, it could also mean they are inconsistent and/or don't know how to close out games. Neither team shoots three-pointers well, which tells us this game will come down to who plays better defense, wins the rebound battle, and figures out how to score more than the other guy. This one could come down to who has the ball last, but the plus-money odds have us leaning towards Forever Coogs.
