Spaun at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship on Sunday, the top 50 golfers in the latest FedExCup Rankings will tee off at the 2025 BMW Championship this week. This will be hosted at a renovated Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland.
Caves Valley is now a par 70 course and the site of the second FedExCup Playoff event. The top 30-ranked golfers after this cut-free BMW Championship event will advance to the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tommy Fleetwood suffered another gutting finish, collapsing late after holding the outright lead at TPC Southwind on Sunday. The Englishman made a charge with a flurry of birdies on the back-nine, however, a missed par putt from inside 10 feet kept Fleetwood from qualifying for the playoff.
Despite the disappointing result, Fleetwood is too good to fade in the Top 10 Finish prop market at plus odds. Ranks third total strokes gained, including ninth SG: Approach, along with top 40 SG: Putting and driving accuracy.
It’s led to Fleetwood ranking 31st in scoring average and 16th on par 4s. His short game is reliable, while his accuracy off-the-tee is enough to justify backing Fleetwood for a seventh top 10 finish.

Top 20 Finish
A golfer who is channeling his best game on the course right now is undoubtedly Kurt Kitayama. The California native has a pair of top 10 finishes in two of the past three events played, including an outright win at the 3M Open.
Kitayama has four top 20 finishes in his previous five starts, including a T9 at TPC Southwind on Sunday. Ranks top-ten in driving distance, which will help navigate the 7,600 yard layout at Caves Valley. Kitayama also ranks 33rd SG: Approach and second proximity.
Leads the PGA Tour in approach shots from 200+ yards or further. Sits fourth in scoring average, birdie average and top 20 for par 4 scoring. Bet on Kitayama to deliver another top 20 finish at plus odds in Maryland this week.

Despite a T32 finish in Memphis on Sunday, I’m remaining bullish on Matt Fitzpatrick. The Englishman finished the 2025 regular season with five straight top 20 finishes, so he’s playing his best brand of golf right now.
Ranks 26th SG: Putting, 17th on approach shots from 200+ yards and eighth in sand save rate. Factor in his current 40th ranking in the FedExCup and the Englishman knows he’ll need to be aggressive at Caves Valley to punch his ticket to the TOUR Championship next week.
Let’s back a golfer riding a ton of momentum and confidence into a renovated course that has been modified to run further since its last appearance on the PGA Tour in 2021.
