This line opened up with the Cougars getting 3, and quickly came down to +2.5 as money poured in on the underdogs. Following an opening game loss to Texas Tech, the Cougars rattled off 10 straight wins on their way to the AAC title game, padding some of the best stats in the country along the way.
By the end of the season, the Cougars ranked #14 in the country in points scored at 37.3 points per game, while also having the #6 ranked defense in the country allowing just 298.8 yards.
For the Tigers, things went from bad to worse this season as the team lost four straight to end the season. With as many as three starters opting out of this one and another six players headed to the transfers portal, expect an unfocused Auburn team that gets rolled.

Following an end of the season that saw them lose four of their final five games, a regime change is underway at Texas Tech. Ranking nearly dead last in the nation in passing yards allowed per game this season (265.6), things could get ugly in this one against Mike Leach’s air raid, with plenty of motivation against his former team.
Outside offensive tackle Charles Cross, the Bulldogs should have all their starters in this one and appear ready to go. Coming in with the #3 passing attack in the nation at 385.7 yards per game, expect the Bulldogs to have a field day.
