Best Bets for Bengals vs. Dolphins
As acknowledged in the injury report, it looks like Ja’Marr Chase has a chance to go in this game (Tee Higgins is more unlikely to play). If he plays, I think my lean is laying the points with Cincy. The only time I feel comfortable betting on Miami is when they are getting at least double-digit scores at home. I don’t want to be fooled by their defensive performance against the Vikings. That was a Kyler Murray offense that was just trying to get him comfortable, resulting in just 15 points on five field goals.
Joe Burrow should have zero issues against this secondary (31st in EPA/pass faced) even with a compromised pass-catcher room.
Erickson’s Picks
- Bengals -6.5

- Leg 1: Greg Dulcich 25+ Receiving Yards (-128)
- Leg 2: Malik Washington 40+ Receiving Yards (-154)
- Leg 3: Chase Brown 70+ Rushing Yards (-102)
Tight end props against the Bengals continue cashing. Cincinnati is allowing a league-high 102.3 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends. The defense struggled to stop the position last year, and it's the case again this season.
This week's benefactor will be Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich. He's admittedly been quiet this season, with just 90 total yards through four games. However, the soft matchup is tough to ignore. At least Dulcich had 55 yards on five catches two games ago against Kansas City, a defense that's also struggled to cover tight ends. Either way, 25+ yards is a low bar for him in this spot.
While we're backing Dulcich, the Dolphins' top pass-catcher is still Malik Washington. His 17 receptions, 28 targets, and 219 yards all lead the team by decent margins. The rapport with Malik Willis is clear at this point. Washington has at least 40 yards in every game, so reaching that mark again this week is very doable.
The Bengals' offense, meanwhile, is a bit tougher to predict. Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are both questionable and are trending towards game-time decisions. So, let's ignore the passing attack and focus on the run game, where Chase Brown could have a big stat line.
Miami is allowing 100 rushing yards per game to running backs this season, the 12th-most in the league. The Dolphins have also given up 70+ yards to a lead back in three out of four games, including 102 to Ashton Jeanty and 94 to Aaron Jones.
It sets up Brown well to bounce back after being held to just 10 yards by Jacksonville last week. Brown had 61, 80 and 56 yards in the three games prior - and he should be on the higher end of those totals this weekend.

What is an NFL player prop bet?
An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
