College Football Week 4 Odds, Picks & Prediction: Maryland vs. Michigan

Big Ten play will officially begin this week between two formidable opponents as Maryland hits the road to take on a red-hot Michigan team. For the Wolverines, while the competition has been weak, they’ve throttled it racking up a margin of 166-17 through three games. Blake Corum, Michigan RB1, tired a school record last week with five TDs on the ground as Michigan’s defense was again dominant.

At the QB position, the Wolverines have handed the reigns over to JJ McCarthy, as the season’s starter Cade McNamara is expected to miss time now with an injury.

For the Terrapins, QB1 Taulia Tagovailoa has seemed to take a big step up this season, completing 77% of his passes to this point with seven total touchdowns. While Maryland has been decent to this point, they’ve yet to be tested like they will Saturday, and I don’t see them having the talent to compete. While head coach Mike Locksley will put together a good game plan, I don’t see it holding up down the stretch as they travel to Michigan.

Pick:  Michigan -16.5
