College Football Week 4 Odds, Picks & Prediction: Wisconsin vs. Ohio State
Wisconsin has the tallest of tasks ahead of them this week, as they begin Big Ten play by heading to Columbus to take on an Ohio State team that has looked incredible. Through three games, the Buckeyes rank in the top in the nation in total offensive yards (#1), passing yards (#6), and points scored (#10). At the helm, quarterback CJ Stroud has been putting up some eye-popping numbers, including last week vs. Toledo where he threw for 367 yards and five touchdowns.
For Wisconsin, a week two loss vs. Washington State, their only real test, is concerning ahead of a matchup like this. While QB1 Graham Mertz has been decent, throwing for 200 yards in all three games, he continues to be more of a game manager than anything else. Instead, Wisconsin has relied on running back Braelon Allen, who has rushed for five touchdowns in total and 100+ yards per game.
In this matchup, however, the Badgers won’t be able to get away with just pounding the ball, and I expect a route here accordingly.
