Major League Baseball:

Despite Atlanta’s dangerous lineup, he expects runs to be at a premium and takes a position on the Game Total Under.
Mets vs. Dodgers: Matt targets a severely mismatched game where the Dodgers host a struggling Mets team. He highlights the Mets’ current five-game losing streak, which includes being swept at home by the Athletics, and their starter David Peterson’s atrocious recent form (giving up five earned runs in each of his last two starts). Acknowledging the heavy juice, Matt believes any moneyline price under -175 for the powerful Dodgers at home against a reeling opponent is too good to pass up. He takes a position on the Moneyline, backing the heavy favorite.

NHL:

Jets at Golden Knights: Moving to the ice, Matt analyzes a late-season Western Conference clash with completely lopsided motivation. The Jets have nothing left to play for and are coming off a brutal 7-1 blowout loss to Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights desperately need points to fend off Edmonton and win the Pacific Division. Recognizing Vegas’s recent shift toward a more defensive, grinding style of play under John Tortorella, and expecting an uninspired offensive effort from Winnipeg, Matt anticipates a low-scoring game (predicting a 3-1 or 3-2 Vegas win). He takes a position on the Game Total Under.
