However, he highlights a strong historical trend: Denver performs exceptionally well against the spread as a road underdog of six or more points when Nikola Jokić plays (hitting at roughly a 65% clip over the last four seasons). Believing the line is inflated due to OKC’s status, he takes a position on the point spread.
Cavaliers vs. 76ers: Looking at this Eastern Conference matchup, Matt points out Cleveland’s abysmal shooting performance in their recent loss to Boston (13-of-45 from three). College Basketball / World Baseball Classic Parlay:

Gonzaga vs. Oregon State (WCC Tournament): Matt previews the West Coast Conference semifinal in Las Vegas, essentially a home game for Gonzaga (“Spokane South”). He highlights the massive mismatch between Gonzaga’s elite offense and Oregon State’s poor metrics (287th in two-point percentage). While the spread is large, he expects a blowout.
Team USA vs. Mexico (WBC): Matt adds Team USA to the mix, citing their overwhelming talent and the expected start of pitcher Paul Skenes against Mexico in Houston.
Parlay Strategy: Looking to add some value, he combines a moneyline play on Team USA with a point spread play on Gonzaga for a cross-sport parlay.
