We continued our hot streak in the UFC last week on DWCS, sweeping our picks and going 2-0. Eduarda Moura dominated her matchup with a first-round RNC finish at -150. Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady dominated George Hardwick to a unanimous decision at +240. This week, we have another solid card to choose from. Let’s dive in!
DWCS Record:
ML: 3-1 (+4.60 units)
Dana White's Contender Series Season 7 Odds, Picks & Predictions (Episode 3)
Middleweight: Zachary Reese (-166) vs Eli Aronov (+130)
Eli Aronov has a record of 6-0 with 2 KOs/TKOs, 2 submissions, and 2 decisions. He last competed in Unified MMA and had a second-round finish via Arm Triangle Choke. Aronov recently competed in IWCC (grappling competition) and had a first-round finish via Arm Triangle Choke. He fights out of MMA Spirit where he and his brother, Rafael Aronov, are their most seasoned fighters.
Zachary Reese has a record of 5-0 with 4 KOs/TKOs and 1 submission. Reese has four finishes inside the 90-second mark and has never seen a second round. He is 3-0 in Fury FC with 2 KOs/TKOs and 1 submission. Reese fights out of WAR Training Center, which has produced three professional fighters: Trevin Giles (UFC), Anthony Ivy (PFL), and Rakim Cleveland (Bellator).
Reese is the naturally-bigger fighter coming down from Light Heavyweight several fights ago and has dynamite in his hands. If this fight makes it to a second-round, Aronov will have the advantage but I just do not see that happening.
Bet: Zachary Reese (-166)
Welterweight: Kaik Brito (-175) vs Oban Elliott (+135)
Kaik Brito has a record of 16-4 with 13 KOs/TKOs and 3 submissions. Brito won the Oktagon Welterweight championship in his last fight via third-round KO/TKO. He fights out of Black Thai Team. Brito’s losses are 1 KO/TKO and 3 decisions.
Oban Elliott has a record of 8-2 with 2 KOs/TKOs, 2 submissions, and 3 decisions. Elliott currently fights in Cage Warriors, where he is 7-2 overall. His two losses came via KO/TKO. Elliott fights out of Shore MMA, where budding UFC superstar Jack Shore calls home. Elliott has won 4 fights in a row (3 decisions).
Brito has the overall advantage when it comes to power and going against more experienced fighters.
Bet: Brito (-175)
