Atlanta Dream at Chicago Sky WNBA Picks
The day's games get going with an early afternoon matchup between the Dream and the Sky. The Sky have been one of the hottest teams in the league from an against the spread (ATS) perspective. They're 8-1 ATS over the last nine, snapping an eight game ATS win streak on Monday against the Lynx.
The main reason they've been so impressive is that the offense has found another gear. For most of the first half of the season, they've been one of the worst units in the league, but in this nine-game streak, they've scored 83.7 points per game (PPG), and 87 PPG when it's against teams outside of the top five in defensive rating. Atlanta fits that mold as they rank eighth due to being a team that doesn't force many turnovers.
Chicago should continue to improve on the offensive end since Atlanta isn't a team that will get them to turn the ball over. Both of these teams have been impressive over teams. Both are 13-8 to the over and 8-2 in their last 10 games. I'm going to ride the trends with one of the most impressive teams in the league over the last few weeks.
