Monday's Best MLB Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Paul Goldschmidt 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI (+120)

The Yankees have to regroup after being swept in Boston, but the good news is they still hold down first place in the American League East. Aaron Judge has been getting all of the attention as he's having a phenomenal season, but Paul Goldschmidt has been quietly playing well, batting .309 with a .369 on-base percentage.

The Yankees face the Angels today, who were also swept over the weekend. Jose Soriano will be on the mound for Los Angeles. While Goldschmidt only has two at-bats against Soriano, one was a hit.

Lucas Giolito 3+ Walks (+135)

It's been an interesting 24 hours for the Boston Red Sox. They are coming off sweeping their hated rivals, the Yankees, and celebrated by trading Rafael Devers. It was a surprising move because they are in contention, gained three games on the Yankees and are only a half-game back of a Wild Card spot.

Boston is going cross-country to Seattle with no day off, which is always tough. Lucas Giolito will take the mound against a very good Mariners lineup. They are a disciplined team, thanks to being sixth in the league in walk rate. Giolito has faced eight different batters on the Seattle roster, and six have recorded a walk against him.

Trea Turner 3+ Hits + Runs + RBI (+120)

The Phillies went on a bit of a rough patch, losing nine out of 10 games, but have won five of their last six. That losing streak took them out of first place in the National League East, and now the Mets have a 2.5-game lead.

Trea Turner has contributed during this recent run and has been great in June, batting .311 with a .936 OPS. He's facing Sandy Alcantara today, who is nowhere near his 2022 Cy Young form with a 7.14 ERA. In his last start against Philadelphia, he allowed six earned runs. Turner walked and scored in that game. Lifetime, he's batting .351 with a .376 weighted on-base average against Alcantara.
