I will be targeting the Guardians/White Sox game aggressively with two of these picks, and to kick things off I'll be taking a look at Noah Syndergaard's second start with his new ball club. The 30-year-old had a strong debut last week, allowing just one earned run on two hits across 5 1/3 innings against Houston. On Saturday, he will be facing what is on paper a better matchup with Chicago, but I am still betting on a tougher outing.

Prior to last Monday, Syndergaard had allowed seven or more hits in each of his last three starts. He has also collectively struck out just eight batters over his past four games combined. The White Sox average just over eight hits as a team per game, and are ranked 11th across the league in BBE. They are due for a breakout game after dropping their past five in a row and Syndergaard should end up being the culprit on Saturday.
Tim Anderson Under 1.5 Total Bases
Flipping the script here and arguably contradicting our initial Syndergaard pick, I am siding with the under for Tim Anderson total bases on Saturday. I do think the veteran shortstop could reach base on Saturday, but the prop line here is too high for him. His total base offering should not be the same number as teammates Eloy Jimenez and Luis Robert.
Anderson has surpassed 1.5 Total Bases just once over his past five games and, while he has improved drastically over the past month, he is still batting just .243 on the year. Anderson is 1-for-5 in his career versus Noah Syndergaard and has punched out three times when facing him. I'll be banking on the rest of the White Sox lineup on Saturday to take care of business while Anderson struggles.
Miguel Rojas Over 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts
I am determined to hit on one of these hitter strikeout props at one point or another. Tonight seems like a good bet when it comes to Miguel Rojas, a 34-year-old utility player that will be facing off against one of the hottest arms in baseball. Rojas has seen consistent playing time for the Dodgers in recent weeks but possesses just a .220 average for the season.
Tonight, he will square off against the 30-year-old ace in Blake Snell, whom is averaging over seven punchouts per outing. A surefire pick to throw north of 100 pitches, Rojas will most likely have to face the San Diego starter at least three times on Saturday night. I would take the plus-arm to set him down on at least one of those occasions.
I am not fearful of Miguel Rojas' 95th percentile K% on Saturday night, as Snell's own 91st percentile K% rate offsets that almost entirely. In my Saturday edition of a "let's not get cute" pick, take the NL Cy Young candidate to continue his ascent on the hill.
