Happy Thursday! Tough day yesterday with the reverse sweep. Let’s rebound today. Below are a few MLB PrizePicks that caught my eye for Thursday, September 7th.

Thursday’s Best MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions
This season: 66-50-6
Max Fried Over 36.5 Fantasy Score
After his dominant 61 fantasy point outing at Chavez Ravine against the Dodgers, how could you not back Max Fried? The Braves young left-hander is rounding into form just in time for October and shouldn’t have any issues with this St. Louis offense. Over the past month, they have a 90 wRC+ (t-11th worst), and Fried has done an excellent job against their big bats in the past. Their roster has a combined .281 xwOBA in 53 plate appearances against him. With Wainwright toeing the rubber for the Cardinals, the Braves are listed as -335 favorites, so recording a win is very much in play for Fried tonight as well.

With Seattle traveling down to Tampa Bay last night, there could be a little jet lag fatigue for the Mariners. They've been mashing as of late but still possess a strikeout-heavy lineup and have the 2nd highest K% (25.7%) against righties on the year. Littell has been right around this number throughout his time with Tampa Bay and has 4+ strikeouts in 5/7 starts with the team. He has seen his pitch count run up to as high as 92 pitches and should go 5-6 innings here. More than anything, this is a numbers play, as Littell isn't known as a strikeout guy. Nineteen of the last 22 righties to face Seattle have recorded 4+ strikeouts, and so should Littell.
Carlos Rodon Over 28.5 Fantasy Score
Carlos Rodon is finally looking like a serviceable starter and draws a fantastic matchup facing the Tigers tonight at home. They have the t-4th worst wRC+ (88) against Southpaws on the season. A lot of the batters on the roster have limited exposure to him, but with Baez (11 PAs) and Cabrera's (29 PAs) extensive pasts, the Tigers roster owns a combined .204 xwOBA and 40% K% in 60 plate appearances against Rodon.
It's a small sample size, but over his last three starts, Rodon has a 2.87 ERA in 15.2 innings. Limiting the Astros to just two earned runs in five innings at home last start is a huge success for anyone, really. He should have no trouble navigating through this mediocre Tigers lineup today, and the Yankees have found a rhythm and are winning ballgames all of a sudden. We get six points for a pitcher Win, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rodon go six innings here to get a Quality Start (4 points), either.
