Taj Bradley More Than 5.5 Strikeouts

What a seasonal debut for the Rays young righty. Pitching at the Trop against the Yankees, Taj Bradley had seven punchouts across six innings of one-run ball. Finding strikeouts was a common occurrence for Bradley last season, as he ranked in the top 81st percentile in K% last season. He went over this line in 13 of his 21 starts. He now draws a Red Sox team that has been striking out quite a bit lately. They are sixth in K% (24.4%) and 22nd in WRC+ (82) against righties over the past two weeks.

Kyle Bradish Less Than 5.5 Strikeouts

Asking for strikeouts against the Blue Jays is a difficult task for any starter. Just look at Kyle Bradish’s teammate Corbin Burnes the other day. He had just two across six innings of work. They are tied for the eighth-lowest K% (20.6%) against righties this season and have seen the ball very well out of Bradish’s hand in the past. Baltimore’s roster has combined for a 12% K% and 14.1% whiff% across 108 plate appearances against him.

Ranger Suarez Less Than 5.5 Hits Allowed

Ranger Suarez is on a heater to start the season and continues to make life difficult for opposing bats. He is under this line in six of his eight starts and ranks in the top 96th percentile in xERA, 98th in xFIP, 85th in K%, 93rd in BB%, 97th in H/9 and 83rd in CSW%. The Phillies southpaw takes on the Mets, who have struggled mightily against lefties. They have the second-worst wRC+ (61) and worst batting average (.179) when facing lefties over the past 30 days. Suarez has also done a good job shutting them down in the past. The Mets roster owns a combined .190 batting average and .269 xwOBA across 89 plate appearances against him.
