Let’s take a look at a same-game parlay for today’s MLB action. Here is a same-game parlay for Reds vs. Cardinals.
MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Reds vs. Cardinals
- Leg 1: Over 8 (-115)
- Leg 2: Hunter Greene under 6.5 strikeouts (-136)
- Leg 3: Joey Votto 2+ total bases (+145)
The Reds have the offense to be a contender. In fact, they score more runs per game than the Brewers who sit in first place in their division (4.42 for CIN vs. 4.27 for MIL). The reason the Reds are 12 games behind in the division is squarely on the pitching. They're last with a 5.40 ERA, 27th with a 1.427 WHIP, and 23rd with a -54 run differential.
Hunter Greene has shown he can be good. The blazing fastball can reach 100 MPH, and if the slider is working, he's untouchable. The control has gotten better. Previously he’s allowed three or more walks in multiple starts, but he hasn't allowed a free pass in his last two. That control wasn’t there in his last start against St. Louis, as he allowed four walks in just 3.1 innings. The Cardinals are a disciplined team with the 11th-most walks in the league and they’ll work the count against Greene.
The Reds rookie was just five years old when the opposing pitcher Adam Wainwright made his debut. Wainwright doesn't seem like a guy that’s possibly in his swan song as he comes in with a 2.73 ERA and a hard-hit percentage near the 90th percentile. The Reds did get to him in his last start back in April as he allowed four earned and walked three in the loss.
You have to feel like this game will play out with a higher score. There is a long history between Wainwright and Joey Votto, he's done well batting .317 lifetime.

What are Player Props?
Player props refer to wagers that bettors can make based on player performance in a specific game. The majority of player props are built around the most common statistical benchmarks for a specific sport such as yards and touchdowns in football. Most player props are straight over/under plays that open at or near -110 and are adjusted based on where the money lands.
