San Francisco Giants at Philadelphia Phillies

  • Leg 1: Under 7.5 Total Runs (-112)
  • Leg 2: Phillies Moneyline (-162)
  • Leg 3: Under 0.5 First Inning Runs (-130)

The Phillies have really turned it on over the last couple of weeks. Since April 15th, they have been 14-3, averaging 5.6 runs scored with a 2.85 ERA. Ranger Suarez will get the ball, and he's been their best starter in what is proving to be an excellent rotation. He's not just the best Phillies' pitcher but also, arguably the best in the National League, as he leads in WAR for pitchers (2.0) and WHIP (0.64).

The Giants' season is not starting well, as they haven't been consistent yet. Neither side has been pulling its weight, as they are just 22nd in runs scored per game (3.76) and 23rd in ERA (4.33). Keaton Winn got some time with the big club last year, and that might have helped for his first full season. His numbers speak for themselves, with a 3.18 ERA and 0.97 WHIP, but he's only getting 2.6 runs of support per start.

The Phillies might not have a spectacular day at the plate, but they won’t need one with Suarez on the mound.

Chicago White Sox at St. Louis Cardinals

  • Leg 1: Under 8 Total Runs (-105)
  • Leg 2: Cardinals -1.5 (+116)
  • Leg 3: White Sox Under 3.5 Runs (-128)

It's been a rough start to the season for the Cardinals, but no one has set themselves apart from the division, so they still have a chance. The bats have no power as their .336 slugging is 27th, and their 1.8% home run ratio is dead last. The pitching hasn't been good except for Sonny Gray and today's starter Lance Lynn. The veteran is excelling in his second run with the Cardinals, and he's especially been great lately with a 2.05 ERA and batters having a .662 OPS in his last four starts.

The White Sox’s woes are evident. They are just 6-26 and currently riding a four-game losing streak. They are the only team scoring under three runs per game and one of two with over a 5.00+ ERA. Imagine what their pitching numbers would be if they didn't have Erick Fedde. He's been a rare gem on a terrible team, with a 2.60 ERA and 10.1 strikeouts per nine.

A competitive pitching matchup against two underperforming offenses should have you grabbing Unders.

Atlanta Braves at Los Angeles Dodgers

This is the highlighted series for this weekend, as it features two top-tier teams. The Braves have one of the best offenses in the league, as they're second in average (.264), third in OBP (.333), and fourth in SLG (.427). Bryce Elder gets the ball, and he's been good in his first starts this year. The only concerning thing we saw was the four walks in the last start against Cleveland.

That could be trouble against the Dodgers’ lineup, which is second in the walk rate (10.9%). As good as the Braves’ offense has been, the Dodgers have been better as they lead the league with a .270 average, OBP (.353), and their SLG is second (.438). Take away the one bad start, and Tyler Glasnow has been stellar. The Dodgers are 6-1 in his starts and Glasnow leads the league with 53 strikeouts.

The Dodgers are batting .281 against lefties and have the second-most doubles (26).
