We have just one more month of the regular season. With a lot of the teams still in contention, it'll be a fun few weeks. Let's look at some important matchups with teams needing wins to stay in the race.

Pittsburgh Pirates at Atlanta Braves
-
- Leg 1: Braves -1.5 (-115)
- Leg 2: OVER 10.5 Runs (+105)
- Leg 3: Ronald Acuna Jr. 2+ Total Bases (-140)
Inconsistency has been the definition of Johan Oviedo's season. At one point, the Pirates lost eight consecutive Oviedo starts, then over his next seven, he would go 5-2 with a 2.72 ERA.
Charlie Morton has been on an incredible run as of late, allowing just three earned runs over his last 23 innings, and opposing batters are hitting just .185. Some of those starts were against the Mets, the Yankees during their nine-game skid, and the Rockies, but he only allowed two earned runs to the Dodgers and could have won if he had gotten more run support.
The Braves offense will be all over this struggling Pirates pitching staff.

Seattle Mariners at Tampa Bay Rays
-
- Leg 1: Rays Moneyline (-120)
- Leg 2: OVER 8.5 Runs (-105)
- Leg 3: Yandy Diaz 2+ Total Bases (-105)
Bryan Woo has had ups and downs throughout his rookie year. When he’s in control, he’s got an electric fastball that he throws by hitters. His problem becomes when he starts giving up walks which causes him to overcompensate and start leaving pitches in the heart of the plate.
Aaron Civale has been a great pickup for the Rays, as Tampa Bay is 4-2 in his starts. He saw Seattle in his first two starts of the season, including a seven-shutout inning performance.
Tampa Bay is a great fastball-hitting team, especially for power. They should have success against Woo, especially if his control is off.

Colorado Rockies at San Francisco Giants
-
- Leg 1: Giants -1.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: OVER 8.5 Runs (+110)
- Leg 3: Joc Pederson 2+ Total Bases (+145)
Alex Cobb was having one of his best seasons since his days in Tampa Bay, but we're starting to see a drop-off. His first five starts in August were rough with a 6.84 ERA, then he had the near no-hitter, but you can tell that the elongated outing impacted him because he allowed four earned in three innings in his next start.
It's been a rough year for Chase Anderson in general. It’s been filled with awful starts, including the one where he allowed two home runs to the Blue Jays in four innings.
I’m expecting a rebound outing from Cobb as the Giants need to win to stay in the playoff hunt.
