Chicago White Sox @ Philadelphia Phillies

It shouldn't be surprising that the Phillies are going for the sweep in this series. It has nothing to do with how good they are; it's how bad the White Sox are. Chicago has won just three games this season, scoring 1.9 runs per game and having a league-worst -65 run differential. Nick Nastrini gets the ball, and he had a respectable first start, going five innings and allowing two earned runs. Still, the offense failed again, and he got no run support.

The Phillies needed this stretch of the schedule, as they started the season inconsistently. That's been mostly due to the offense. They've got talented hitters, but many of them started slow, like J.T. Realmuto, Nick Castellanos and Bryce Harper. The pitching hasn't, including Aaron Nola. He had a terrible first start but turned it around quickly and is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in three starts.

Philadelphia should have no problem winning their sixth straight.

Baltimore Orioles @ Kansas City Royals

  • Leg 1: Royals Over 4.5 Team Total Runs (+102)
  • Leg 2: Over 8.5 (-122)
  • Leg 3: Orioles Over 4.5 Team Total Runs (+110)

We'll get the rubber match in what has been an exciting couple of games. No one would have expected the Royals to be in this situation, as they sit in second place in the division. They're letting their power be known as they lead the league in barrels percentage (10.0%) and are fourth in home runs (25). They have team veterans like Salvador Perez and Bobby Witt Jr. having amazing starts to the season, and it seems to be helping some of the younger players like Nelson Velazquez. Seth Lugo gets the ball and has four straight quality starts, but two were against the White Sox and one from the Twins, so he's had an easy schedule so far.

The Orioles have gone toe-to-toe with Kansas City offensively in this series, and they hold the advantage in average (.257), home runs (31) and slugging (.453). The disadvantage is the pitching, and Cole Irvin is a new addition they hoped would improve it. He hasn't, and he's already seen the Royals this year, giving up four earned in five innings in a loss.

With how competitive this series is, it’s tough to pick a winner, but the high scoring should continue.

Milwaukee Brewers @ St. Louis Cardinals

The Brewers are coming into the Sunday finale with the chance to pull out the brooms in St. Louis. The Brewers’ bats have been flowing all season, as they are second in wOBA (.347), third in average (.270) and fourth in slugging (.434). Colin Rea gets the start, and he isn't overpowering, but he will keep you guessing, as he doesn't favor one pitch and gets his opponents to swing under the ball.

The Cardinals lineup isn't producing, as they are 26th in runs per game (3.62), and there's no power, sitting 29th in home run rate (1.8%). The pitching wasn't at its best on Saturday, but they are still coming in 10th in ERA (3.94). Sonny Gray gets the ball and is having a fantastic first season in St. Louis. Last year was his closest at a Cy Young by finishing second, but through 11 innings, he's yet to allow a run or walk; this could be the year.

Gray is the perfect pitcher to have on the mound to stop a losing streak.
