We have just a few days left in the regular season. With many teams still in contention, it'll be fun to watch. Let's look at some important matchups with teams needing wins to stay in the race.

Seattle Mariners at Texas Rangers
- Leg 1: Mariners Moneyline (+105)
- Leg 2: Over 9.5 Total Runs (+110)
- Leg 3: Julio Rodriguez 2+ Total Bases (-110)
The Mariners need to salvage one game in this series to stay in contention in the AL West and Wild Card. Bryan Woo is ending his rookie season on a high note, with the Mariners winning four of the last five starts, during which he has a 2.27 ERA. When he's in control, he's got an electric fastball that he throws by hitters. His problem becomes when he starts giving up walks, which causes him to overcompensate and leave pitches in the heart of the plate.
The Rangers took Nathan Eovaldi's return very slow, with short outings in his first two starts, but last one, it looked like he was a full go as he went five innings. We’re also seeing control problems from him, and he has multiple walks in ten of his last 11 starts.
Texas and Seattle do very well at drawing walks, leading to a high-scoring game, and I like Seattle to edge it out behind Woo.

Milwaukee Brewers at Miami Marlins
- Leg 1: Brewers Moneyline (-125)
- Leg 2: Under 7.5 Total Runs (-125)
- Leg 3: Luis Arraez 2+ Total Bases (+105)
Edward Cabrera dealt with a shoulder issue during the season, and since his return from the IL, he hasn't gotten positive results. The Marlins haven't won any of his four starts, and while he can strikeout batters, the control still isn't there, and he has a 15.5 walk rate.
As the Brewers gear up for a playoff appearance, Freddy Peralta has been pitching well in the last few starts. He's pitched at least 5+ innings, allowing two or fewer runs in nine of his previous 13 starts, and opposing batters are hitting .161 at this time. One of these starts was against the Marlins, where he went 6.1 innings, allowed one earned and struck out nine.
I see Perlata having another great outing against the Marlins and grabbing the win.

Arizona Diamondbacks at New York Yankees
- Leg 1: Yankees Moneyline (-120)
- Leg 2: Over 8.5 Total Runs (+105)
- Leg 3: Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases (+125)
This year, Carlos Rodon has been tough to watch for New York, especially since he came in as the big free agent signing in the offseason. He's had two IL stints, but the lack of consistency has been a problem. He gets a familiar opponent in a former NL West rival, and he's had success with a lifetime .164 opponents' batting average against the Diamondbacks.
You can mirror all of this to the 2023 season of Zach Davies. Multiple IL stints and a brutal 6.84 ERA. He's only been able to grab one win in his last four starts.
The Yankees have had a couple of great offensive performances recently, and they could be ending the season on a high note.
