Milwaukee Brewers at Philadelphia Phillies

The Brewers will visit Philadelphia to decide the winner of this 3-game series against the Phillies. Ice has a strong pitching matchup, with Corbin Burnes on the hill for the Brewers, and Taijuan Walker will look to continue his great season for the Phillies. I don’t expect a ton of runs scored in this game, but I do like the Brewers and a couple of hot hitters from each team. I like Christian Yelich to break out in this series today at the plate with a plus-matchup against the righty. With only one hit so far in the series, I expect him to have a hit or two, including a single batting in the heart of this Brewers lineup. Yelich is batting .296 against righties this season with an OPS of .899. A hitter I like on the Phillies with a plus matchup is Bryce Harper. Bryce is currently on a 7-game hitting streak, bringing his average up to .300 for the season. Against righties, he’s hitting a robust .322.

Look for the Brewers to squeeze out a couple of runs and use their defense to close out this game.

Parlay Odds: +475

San Diego Padres at Toronto Blue Jays

The Padres will visit Toronto as they look to sweep the Blue Jays. Lefty Blake Snell will be on the mound for the Padres as Chris Bassitt will look to improve on his solid season for the Jays. Snell has not given up an earned run in his past 16 innings pitched, but I believe that finally changes today against a strong Blue Jays lineup playing in the Rogers Centre. The Blue Jays will need to bring a disciplined approach to the plate. I'm encouraged by how righty Chris Bassitt has looked this season, and I believe he puts together a good day to outduel Snell. I like Matt Chapman to have a single with a plus-matchup against the Lefty. Chapman is hitting .355 against left-handed pitchers this season with an OPS of 1.000. Look for Bo Bichette to continue his incredible season at the plate, where he’s batting .358 vs. Lefties and .321 overall. I have him knocking in a run or two today.

I like the Blue Jays Sox to break through against Snell and avoid the sweep behind Bassitt, Bichette, and Chapman.

Parlay Odds: +675
