MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (6/5)

MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions: Wednesday (5/29)

When it comes to betting on baseball, same game parlays offer extra sizzle and spice. These SGP's allow you the opportunity to combine multiple different legs into a single, customizable wager with potentially massive payouts. Whether you're a seasoned bettor or a curious newcomer, same game parlays provide an enticing way to engage with America's favorite pastime.

I'll be coming at you each week with my favorite plays of the day. Remember, these are high-risk, high-reward bets so you won't be hitting winners every day but when you do, it'll be well worth it. Remember to shop around for the best odds. It's been a bit of a tough couple of weeks, missing a lot of parlays by one leg. But hey, we bounce back. Let's get to it.

Los Angeles Dodgers at Pittsburgh Pirates

James Paxton takes on Paul Skenes in Pittsburgh as the Pirates find themselves a minor favorite. Both teams boast solid starters but I'm trusting the Dodgers offense. Paxton is 5-0 with a 3.68 ERA across his six road starts. What's enticing is how little experience the current Pirates roster has against Paxton. Only Andrew McCutchen has experienced more than three at-bats against the lefty and Pittsburgh as a whole isn’t exactly electric against southpaws. Pittsburgh actually has a worse batting average at home on the season while the Dodgers have been performing better on the road. Skenes has pitched well so far but owns a higher ERA at home at 3.60. Simply put, there's always value in betting the Dodgers as underdogs and tonight is no different. It's a team that historically travels well and can post crooked numbers in innings at will sometimes. I trust that both starting pitchers can keep each opponent at bay but with the value offered at +214 and the combined parlay, I'm all in here.

New York Mets at Washington Nationals

After dropping the first two games in the series, I'm buying the Nationals bounce-back spot tonight in Washington. Patrick Corbin isn't exactly the ideal pitcher to back in the situation but the southpaw has been performing better of late, coming off a quality start and bringing his May ERA down. Luis Severino has allowed four-plus runs in three of his last five starts and owns a 5.16 road ERA compared to a 2.61 home ERA. He struggles away from New York. Washington is on the up and up while New York is going in the exact opposite direction. Eddie Rosario has seen Severino well in the past and Washington's offense has picked up of late, batting .248 as a team in the three games of June. Basically, I don't see them losing three straight to an intradivision rival and I don’t exactly trust either pitcher. I'm buying the runs here and keeping it correlated with the Nationals winning with relative ease.
