Cincinnati Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates
- Leg 1: Paul Skenes 4 or Fewer Hits Allowed (-201)
- Leg 2: Paul Skenes 8+ Strikeouts (-170)
- Leg 3: Andrew Abbott 3 or Fewer Earned Runs (-220)
- Leg 4: Bryan Reynolds Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-136)
Let's lead off our same-game parlays with a National League Central matchup between the Reds and Pirates. We have Paul Skenes on the mound for Pittsburgh, so fire up a couple of props for the ace pitcher. Plus, some under-the-radar picks round out the parlay.
Skenes hasn't been as outright dominant as last season, but he's still posting top-tier numbers. The Pirates right-hander boasts a 2.86 ERA and 0.93 WHIP over 16 starts this season. His 30.6% strikeout rate and 5.1% walk rate rank in the 95th and 94th MLB percentiles, respectively. Skenes also owns a 2.57 ERA and 2.67 FIP over his last five outings.
Skenes now faces a Cincinnati offense that's batting a league-worst .183 against right-handers over the last two weeks. The Reds also have an MLB-high 29% strikeout rate versus righties in this stretch. It sets up well for the Pittsburgh ace, who owns a 0.53 ERA in six career starts against the Reds. He also has a 34.7% strikeout rate and a .188 batting average allowed at home this year.
Meanwhile, Reds starter Andrew Abbott can also be effective today. After a shaky start to the season, the southpaw has settled down lately. He owns a 2.41 ERA over his last 10 outings, with two earned runs or fewer allowed in seven of those games. Abbott also boasts a 2.93 ERA on the road.
While we're backing Abbott to have a good outing, Bryan Reynolds can also produce. The outfielder is hitting .326 with a .997 OPS against left-handed pitching this season. He's also batting .338 with a 1.030 OPS at home. Plus, Reynolds is on fire recently, with a .368 batting average and 1.165 OPS over the past month. He's 4-for-10 against Abbott in his career.

Arizona Diamondbacks at Tampa Bay Rays
- Leg 1: Rays Moneyline (-143)
- Leg 2: Nick Martinez 3 or Fewer Earned Runs Allowed (-247)
- Leg 3: Zac Gallen Over 5.5 Hits Allowed (-134)
- Leg 3: Yandy Diaz Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-147)
- Leg 4: Jonathan Aranda Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-147)
Let's now turn our attention to an Interleague matchup between Arizona and Tampa Bay. The Rays hold a few key edges to win at home. Build a parlay around a Tampa victory with some player props backing it up.
Nick Martinez should be effective in this start. The Rays right-hander boasts a 2.73 ERA and 1.16 WHIP this season. While he's been a bit shakier lately, Martinez gets a favorable matchup here. The Diamondbacks rank 28th in wOBA and 29th in wRC+ against right-handed pitching this season. They're also batting just .216 versus righties over the past two weeks.
On the other side, Arizona starter Zac Gallen could have trouble against the Rays. The right-hander has a rough 6.10 ERA and 1.63 WHIP this season. He also owns a 6.98 ERA on the road. Gallen's 7.76 ERA over his last 10 outings is also very worrisome. Meanwhile, the Rays have a .328 wOBA against righties this season, which ranks seventh in the Majors.
Two Tampa hitters who should produce are Yandy Diaz and Jonathan Aranda. The former is hitting .342 with a .950 OPS against right-handed pitching. Diaz is also crushing at home, with a .374 batting average and 1.103 OPS. Plus, he's on fire lately, with a .391 batting average and .954 OPS over the last 18 games.
As for Aranda, he owns a .291 batting average and .903 OPS against righties this season. He's also hitting .277 with an .844 OPS at home. Aranda is swinging it well lately, too, with a .340 average and .862 OPS over the last 12 games. Furthermore, Gallen has struggled against left-handed batters, allowing a .345 batting average and .924 OPS in the split.
Parlay Odds: +425
