Sunday's Best MLB Same Game Parlays & Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Toronto Blue Jays at Boston Red Sox

Walker Buehler's stint in Boston has been mediocre, as he comes into this start with a 6.29 ERA. His last two starts have been brutal; he's coming off allowing seven walks in four innings, and prior to that start, he allowed eight earned runs. He is very far from 2021, when he finished in the top four in Cy Young voting with a 2.47 ERA. Buehler was one of the best at ensuring swings and misses a few years ago,  but this year he's in the 16th percentile in whiff rate.

The Blue Jays have the best whiff rate in the league (21.4%) and the ninth hard hit rate (41.9%). There is no trusting Buehler this year against that lineup.

Parlay Odds: +463

Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves

It looks like Spencer Strider is getting comfortable on the mound after a rough start to the year. He’s looking like his old self recently; he has won his last three starts with a 2.12 ERA, 0.73 FIP, and 29 strikeouts in 17 innings. The velocity of the fastball is starting to return as he's hitting the upper 90s, and his breaking ball is getting sharper.

He's dominated Philadelphia with a 37.3% strikeout and they are batting .173. This would get them the series win they need as they're falling behind in the National League East race.

Parlay Odds: +518

Chicago Cubs at Houston Astros

Framber Valdez has been nearly unhittable in his recent starts. In his last nine outings, he has a 1.89 ERA, with the Astros winning all nine. In fact, Houston is 18-7 in June, and it's helped them acquire a 6.5 game lead in the American League West.

Keeping the ball down is the key to his efficiency, but the control of throwing in the bottom part of the strike zone plays a large part. If he’s pitching well, he’ll have a steady stream of ground balls, but if he isn’t hitting his mark, batters will lay off. Walks are a concern and he has allowed nine over his last two starts, but he's overcome them in those starts. The Cubs are 12th in walk rate this season (12.5%), but are 20th (7.5%) in their last three games.

Parlay Odds: +476
