MLB Same Game Parlays & Picks: Tuesday (5/26)

It is always tough getting back into the work routine after a holiday weekend. But, hey, it's a short work week, and there's a full MLB schedule today. That means we have 15 games to bet on, which means we can create an almost endless number of MLB same game parlays (SGPs).

To that end, here are my top two MLB same game parlays for Tuesday, May 25th.

New York Yankees vs. Kansas City Royals

Leg #1: Yankees First Inning Moneyline (+210)

Cam Schlittler has been lights out on the road this season (5-1 in seven starts with a 1.04 ERA and a .139 opponents’ batting average). He'll contain the Royals’ lineup.

However, Kansas City is going with a bullpen approach, starting with Bailey Falter (9.82 ERA, 2.86 WHIP). If the Yankees’ lineup is going to wake up from its doldrums anytime soon, it will be against Falter.

Leg #2: Cam Schlittler Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-122)

Cam Schlittler has gone over this total in six out of seven road games and in his last three outings. The Royals have struck out just 42 times over the last six games, one of the lowest totals in the league.

But I'm willing to bank on Schlittler getting desperate Royals hitters to chase a few pitches.

Leg #3: Trent Grisham 2+ Total Bases (+135)

Over the last week, Trent Grisham has hit .438, recording a hit in seven of 16 at-bats, including three doubles. If I'm going to bet on anyone to record two or more bases, it's going to be someone who has been making contact and hitting for some power.

Parlay Odds: +877 - A $100 wager will result in a $977 payday; your stake plus $877 in winnings.

Atlanta Braves vs. Boston Red Sox

Leg #1: Under 8.5 Runs (-122)

Spencer Strider has yet to allow more than three runs in any of his four outings. Boston has been hitting well over the last week, but he held them to three hits and a run in 51 innings on May 15th.

Ranger Suarez has shut teams out in five starts and allowed four earned runs in three other outings. But I don't think the Braves are hitting well enough to take advantage of him.

Leg #2: Ranger Suarez Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-114)

When it comes to strikeouts, Ranger Suarez is a sink-or-swim pitcher. He either has a great night (8-10 strikeouts) or a lackluster one (five or fewer strikeouts).

Suarez has gone under this total in four of his last six games. But in 197 at-bats versus the Atlanta lineup, he has recorded 46 strikeouts. As long as Suarez goes at least five innings, I like these chances to get at least five strikeouts in this game.

Leg #3: Spencer Strider Under 6.5 Strikeouts (-152)

Spencer Strider has gone over this number in two of his four starts and recorded six in his shortest outing (3.1 innings vs. Colorado on May 3rd). But when he pitched against the Red Sox a couple of weeks ago, Strider recorded just four punchouts in 5.1 innings.

Boston has been hitting well over the last week (.289) and hasn't been striking out much (44 strikeouts in the last week in five games). I'm just not so sure Strider will be in the game long enough to go over his total.

Parlay Odds: +406 - A $100 wager will result in a $506 payday; your stake plus $406 in winnings.
