That’s how you rebound after a rough start to a week. We found a sweep on Thursday’s limited slate. Let’s find another one as we make our way into the weekend. Here are three of my favorite player props via Sleeper for Friday, September 13.

MLB Sleeper Picks Player Predictions
Sleeper Record: 202-118 (62.7%)
Zach Eflin Less Than 1.5 Walks (1,37x)
If you’ve been reading these articles throughout the season, you would know that this prop has been a staple of this series. Zach Eflin refuses to walk more than one batter a game, and often times he finishes without one altogether. He ranks in the 98th percentile in BB% and has stayed under this line in 23 of his 25 starts this season. Eflin faces a Tigers squad that is 19th in BB% (7.5%) over the past 30 days against right-handed pitching.
Yusei Kikuchi More Than 6.5 Strikeouts (1.62x)
The Angels have been downright horrific over the past 30 days, which should lead to plenty of punchouts for our friend Mr. Kikuchi. The Halos are 28th in wRC+ (77) and third in K% (28.1%) over the past month. We just saw fellow left-hander, Andrew Heaney, strike out eight against them the other day, and it wouldn’t be all that shocking to see Yusei match that total tonight. Since joining the Astros, he has revved up his slider usage and owns an elite 32% K% across his last seven starts. It wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him flirt with double-digit strikeouts in this one.
Garrett Crochet Less Than 5.5 Strikeouts (1.75x)
The White Sox reeled in the season a while ago, and are limiting their ace to roughly 60 pitches a start these days. This could still be a sweat, considering how nasty Crochet is, but on usage alone, it makes sense to take the under here. He has stayed under this in five of his past eight starts, averaging 63 pitches per outing. That number has trended even further down over his past four starts, averaging just 55 pitches, and he hasn’t made it past the fourth inning either. Crochet takes on the A’s, who have surprisingly cut down on the strikeouts and are 17th in K% (23.8%) against lefties since the start of August. With this sort of usage, I’m willing to give it a shot.
