Well, we did not kick off the week with many winners, as yesterday’s card went just 1-2. There’s a full slate of games Tuesday, presenting a multitude of ways to play today. Here are three of my favorite pitcher props via Sleeper for June 4.

MLB Sleeper Picks Player Predictions
Sleeper Record: 93-44
Kirby takes on the Athletics, who have been striking out left and right lately. The last 13 right-handed starters to face them have exceeded this line, and the club has 26.3 K% and is 18th in wRC+ (92) over the past two weeks against righties.
Kirby isn’t known for his strikeouts, but he can definitely find six on any given night. He has done so in half of his starts this year. Looking closer at the starts he did miss, they generally came against teams that don’t strike out nearly as much as the A’s.
Glasnow returns to where it all started for him in Pittsburgh. The Pirates traded him away a few years back to the Rays, and this will be his first start against his former club.
The Buccos strike out at an alarmingly high rate, which sets Glasnow up for a headline-worthy return here. They have the second-highest K% (25.9%) and are 25th in wRC+ (91) across the past 30 days against righties. Glasnow is a strikeout king and has gone over this in seven of his last 10 starts.
As of late, Luzardo hasn’t flashed the strikeouts the way he normally does, but the metrics show that he is still capable. He ranks in the 91st percentile in swinging-strike rate and 81st in CSW% among starters. That’s right along with his rates from 2022-2023.
Luzardo went over this in 32 of 50 starts (64%) over those two seasons. Tonight, he takes on the Rays, who have the fourth-highest K% (25.2%) against lefties on the season.
