Tuesday’s Best MLB Underdog Fantasy Player Predictions
Aaron Judge HIGHER 1.5 Total Bases
Aaron Judge is having a monster season at the dish and has been white-hot lately. According to FanGraphs, in 245 plate appearances in 2024, Judge has hit 18 doubles and 17 homers with a .279 batting average, .297 xBA, .629 slugging, .730 xSLG and .350 ISO. In 104 plate appearances this month, the mammoth slugger has hit 12 doubles and 11 homers with a .383 batting average, .938 slugging and .556 ISO. Additionally, in his previous 21 games, Judge has had over 1.5 total bases 14 times.
Juan Soto HIGHER 1.5 Total Bases
Juan Soto, like Judge, is also tearing the cover off the ball. In 250 plate appearances this season, Soto has hit 11 doubles, one triple and 14 homers with a .310 batting average, .321 xBA, .571 slugging, .668 xSLG and .262 ISO.
The left-handed Soto has a track record of success against righties and a Charmin-soft matchup. Since 2021, Soto has had a .293 batting average, .552 slugging and .259 ISO against righties. Meanwhile, Griffin Canning has allowed six doubles, one triple and seven homers with a .307 batting average and .561 slugging to 132 lefties this season.

Ben Brown LOWER 5.5 Strikeouts
Ben Brown has started and relieved this year. The 24-year-old righty has started five games and worked in relief in seven contests. As a result, Brown hasn’t been used as a workhorse. According to ESPN, he has thrown over 80 pitches only twice. Furthermore, he’s pitched fewer than five innings in four of five starts. Thus, Brown has struck out fewer than 5.5 batters in four of five starts. Brown has to thread a needle to strike out over 5.5 batters at his typical workload.
In addition, Brown has to avoid getting roughed up by a potent offense. This season, the Brewers are second in wRC+ (121) versus righties and fourth in wRC+ (124) at home.
Andres Gimenez HIGHER 1.5 Total Bases
Andres Gimenez is in MLB’s hitting paradise tonight. According to FantasyPros, left-handed batters have park factors of 1.160 for singles, 1.295 for doubles, 1.816 for triples and 1.220 for homers. The left-handed-hitting infielder also has a cushy matchup. Ryan Feltner has allowed seven doubles, three homers, a .295 batting average and .438 slugging to 120 lefties in 2024.
Gimenez isn’t a hulking slugger. Still, he’s an above-average hitter with the platoon advantage who can take advantage of tonight’s favorable layout. Since 2021, he’s had a .258 batting average, .412 slugging and .154 ISO against righties.
