Sacramento Kings (+144) at Indiana Pacers (-172) | O/U 234.5 (-114/-106

The Kings (6-17) and Pacers (5-18) meet in a game which could be termed the “Disappointment Cup”, coming on the heels of the NBA Cup Quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Sacramento heads into this game with a 3-10 mark on the road, while Indiana enters play at 4-8 at home. The Pacers swept the season series in 2024-25, with the road team covering each of the meetings while the Under cashed in both installments. Indiana is 4-1 straight up (SU) and 3-2 against the spread (ATS) in the past five in the series, too.

The Kings haven’t had a lot of success lately, but they did pick up a 127-111 win in Miami last time out on Saturday as an 8.5-point underdog while the Under (241.5) cashed. That halted a four-game losing and non-cover streak, while the Under has hit in three in a row, five of the past six and nine of the past 11 outings.

For the Pacers, they also won last time out on the road, posting a 120-105 win in Chicago as a 4.5-point underdog while the Under (235.5) cashed. Indiana has won three of the past five games outright, while going 7-2 ATS in the past nine games, with the Under hitting at a 4-2 clip in the past six outings.

Let’s back the road team to cover in a potentially close game, but play that lightly. The best play is going Under based on the trends for both sides.

Picks: Kings +4 (-110) & Under 233.5 Points (-106)

Phoenix Suns (+350) at Minnesota Timberwolves (-450) | O/U 224.5 (-110/-110

The Suns (13-10) and the Timberwolves (15-8) tangle at Target Center in Minneapolis at 7:30 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Minnesota had won the past eight meetings in this series, including the final four games of the first-round playoff series in 2024. However, the Suns had enough, winning 114-113 as a 4.5-point underdog in the first meeting this season while the Under (231.5) cashed.

The Suns shot 48% (39-of-81) from the field in that victory last month, while hitting 45% (14-of-31) from behind the 3-point line. Somehow, Phoenix managed to win despite 27 turnovers, including nine from G Devin Booker. He made up for it with 16 points and 10 assists for the team’s only double-double, and Phoenix picked up 13 steals to make up for those turnovers.

The Timberwolves were also sloppy in that loss in the Valley of the Sun, turning it over 19 times, while spoiling a 41-point effort by G Anthony Edwards, who hit five triples with five boards, four assists and four steals.

Phoenix has dropped three of the past four games, but it is 6-3 ATS in the past nine games, while the Over is 3-1 in the previous four outings.

Minnesota has posted five straight wins, but it is just 1-4 ATS in the span, and 2-7 ATS in the past nine outings. The Over has hit in four of the previous five contests, too. Let’s take the Suns with the points, and go Over on the total.

Picks: Suns +10 (-106) & Over 224.5 Points (-110)

San Antonio Spurs (-420) at New Orleans Pelicans (+330) | O/U 236.5 (-108/-112

At 8 p.m. ET at Smoothie King Center, the Spurs (15-7) meet the Pelicans (3-21). The Spurs might be a bit shorthanded, as G Stephon Castle (hip) and C Luke Kornet (ankle) are each questionable, while C Victor Wembanyama (calf) is out.

For the Pellies, they’ll be shorthanded, too, as F Zion Williamson (adductor) is out, while Gs Dejounte Murray (Achilles) and Jordan Poole (quadriceps) are also sidelined.

The Spurs have won four of the past six games, while going 4-2 ATS, and they’re also 7-3 SU/ATS in the past 10 outings. The Over has cashed in four of the past five outings.

The Pelicans have dropped six in a row, while New Orleans is 4-1 ATS in the past five outings. The Over has cashed in three of the past four games, too. New Orleans has lost three in a row in this series, while going 2-5 SU, while the Pelicans are 4-1-1 ATS in the past six in the series.

Let’s back the Pelicans catching the points, as they should be able to keep it within single digits. The Over is the way to go here, too, as there won’t be a lot of defense on the floor.

Picks: Pelicans +9.5 (-110) & Over 236.5 Points (-108)
