NBA Parlay for Friday, March 4th, 2022

Cade Cunningham

Another full weekend of NBA games is on deck starting tonight throughout the league, as the home stretch of the season is starting to take the main stage. In the East, the Heat continue to get it done and are now 2.5 games ahead of the 76ers and Bulls, while the Suns continue to pad their #1 seed lead in the West.

Let’s take a closer look at tonight’s slate and identify where the edge is.

Leg #1. Pistons ML | +120 at DK Sportsbook

Having already squared off twice this season, the Pacers and Pistons are two teams very familiar with each other. Dating back to last season, the Pistons are also 3-1 ATS in their last four meetings.

Heading into tonight, the Pacers are dealing with a rash of injuries including a hobbled Lance Stephenson who enters tonight questionable with an ankle injury. As for the Pistons, while this season has been largely one to forget, they enter tonight on a six games ATS win streak, and are as healthy as they’ve been all season.

I like for them to keep this one close at home and edge out a banged-up Pacers team late.

Leg #2. 76ers -7.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Speaking of being banged up, it doesn’t get much worse than the Cavaliers’ luck so far this season. In addition to losing Collin Sexton in November, they then lost another leader in Ricky Rubio (since traded), before acquiring Caris LeVert (foot) and Rajon Rondo (toe), both of whom are already missing time.

And it’s starting to show in the standings. Entering tonight, the once Teflon-Cavs have now lost five of six including six-straight ATS. On the other side of this matchup, the 76ers have a spotless injury report for the first time this season and have won four straight since their trade deadline activity.

I expect them to roll again in this one.

Leg #3. Suns -7 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

My favorite play of the night. I think the Suns should be double-digit favorites in this game. Despite being down Devin Booker (COVID) and Chris Paul (thumb), the Suns beat Portland by 30 at home two nights ago with the same lineup. It also served as a game they were able to get Cam Payne back on the floor. For a team still averaging 113.7 points per game, they barely missed a beat.

And then there are the Knicks. Perhaps no team in the NBA is in more disarray than they are at the moment, with a rash of injuries compounded by a team whose largely given up on the season now having lost seven straight and nine of 10. I like for the Suns to build a lead early in this one and never look back.
