Sunday’s NBA Best Bets & Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Michael Porter Jr. 32+ Points + Rebounds (-118)

Michael Porter Jr. once again will take the reigns as the top scoring option in Brooklyn, while Cam Thomas remains out with a left hamstring strain. The Nets have only one win on the season, and take on the Wizards today, in a battle of the first team to record two victories.
Porter Jr.has eclipsed 32 points + rebounds in six out of seven contests. The forward for Brooklyn is averaging 25.6 points, with 9.0 boards through seven games. Porter Jr. is knocking down 45.2% of attempts, and has made 22 three-pointers over that span.
The veteran forward has scored at least 21 points or more in seven out of eight games played this season. The one contest he fell short of 21 points, was a stat line of 17 points, with 17 rebounds.  Porter Jr. has scored at least 20 points or more in three out of the last five contests against Washington.

Neemias Queta 8+ Points (-135)

Neemias Queta ranks sixth in the league amongst his contemporaries in regards to field goal percentage, connecting on 64.9% of attempts. The center out of Utah State has experienced a slight improvement on his playing time over the past six games. Queta has been on the floor an average of 25.8 minutes in the previous six contests, compared to a season average of 23.9.
The center for Boston has played 26 minutes or more in four out of the last six games. Queta is averaging 8.9 points this season. However, these numbers increase to 12.7 points when playing at home. Queta has exceeded 7.5 points in six out of the last seven games.
The Clippers allow over 116 points each contest, and have conceded just below 121 point over the last three contests. Queta has scored at least eight points in all six home games played on the season. We don't love the juice on this selection, but the success rate is hard to pass up on.

Max Christie 11+ Points (-125)

Max Christie has kicked off the 2025-2026 campaign giving Dallas a much-needed shooting boost from beyond the arc. The 22-year old is also experiencing career-high numbers in playing time (30.8), points (12.8)  and field goal percentage (47.2%) . Christie is averaging 2.7 baskets from deep on 45.5% shooting.
The Dallas guard is averaging 11.8 points in nine games played at home. Christie has exceeded 10.5 points in 9-of-13 contests. The third-year guard out of Michigan State has hit at least two baskets from beyond the arc in seven consecutive games where Dallas is the underdog. Christie is averaging 4.5 made field goals per game.
The guard for the Mavericks has played 30 minutes or more in 8-of-10 games, and is averaging 32.1 minutes over the last seven home games. Christie is averaging 13.1 points on 45.2% shooting, with 2.6 three-pointers over the last 10 contests.

Trey Murphy III 2+ Steals (+195)

The Pelicans forward has racked-up 15 takeaways on the season, with 11 steals recorded in the last eight contests. The defensive lines for Jeremiah Fears ( who leads the team in steals ) are not up or else that would be the preferred selection for 2+ steals.
Having said that, the forward for New Orleans has finished with at least two steals in two out of the last five contests. Murphy III is averaging 1.4 steals over that span.
The Warriors average 8.1 turnovers off of steals per night. The Warriors are averaging 8.2 steals allowed when playing on the road. This is certainly more of a long-shot bet. However, given the Warriors propensity to turn the ball over, we feel Murphy has a very solid opportunity to finish this contest with at least two steals or more. This selection deserves a small sprinkle as a .25-unit play.

Ayo Dosunmo 2+ Three-Pointers (-126)

Ayo Dosunmo, and the Chicago Bulls, match up against the Utah Jazz, in what appears to be an extremely favorable spot for the three-point baskets. The Jazz allow the most three-pointers in the NBA. On average Utah is giving up 15.6 buckets per game from beyond the perimeter. The Jazz allowed 24 three-pointers on 51% shooting from above the perimeter against Atlanta on November 13.
Dosunmo is averaging 1.9 three-pointers on the season. The Chicago guard has made five three-pointers over the previous two contests on 46.5% shooting. The 25-year old has finished with at least two successful attempts from deep in five out of nine games played.
The guard for the Bulls is amongst a very cluttered backcourt. Having said that, Dosunmo has attempted 11 three-pointers in the two previous games, and will face a Utah squad that is seemingly encouraging opponents to shoot from distance.

Enjoy the games today, and best of luck with your picks!
