(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Karl-Anthony Towns 6+ Assists (+111)
The New York Knicks are on the verge of closing out their series against Philadelphia in four games, and we are going to once again take our chances on an assist prop from one of their best offensive options. Karl-Anthony Towns has been nothing short of masterful as a facilitator in the playoffs, and he can finish with six assists or more in this contest.
Towns is averaging 6.7 assists in this second-round series and has finished with double-digit assists in two out of the last six games. Towns has recorded six assists or more in six consecutive contests, including three straight road contests. The Knicks center is averaging 7.2 assists over the previous five games.
The veteran center has accounted for only 63 minutes on the floor through three contests in this series, but has still finished with at least six assists in each game. Towns is in a remarkable spot to finish with at least six assists - especially if this contest can stay even remotely close through four quarters.
Paul George 3+ Made Three-Pointers (-109)
Philadelphia is down 3-0 going into the fourth contest of this series. Philadelphia will absolutely need the services of the sharpshooting forward if they want to keep from staring at a trip to Cancun. Paul George is knocking down his fair share of three-point attempts in the playoffs, and we like his chances to finish this contest with at least three made three-pointers.
The 76ers forward has connected on 12 three-pointers over the last three contests. George hit at least three three-pointers in eight out of 11 games in the playoffs. The veteran scorer is shooting a phenomenal 50.7% from beyond the arc through 10 playoff games.
George has made at least three three-point baskets in eight consecutive contests, including four straight games at home. George finished with three successful attempts from above the perimeter in four out of five games against New York this season.
Victor Wembanyama First-Basket Scorer (+328)
Victor Wembanyama has been a serious source of offense in this series against Minnesota. Not only have the final results been extremely solid, but the Spurs are also electing to go to Wembanyama early and often. The return is massive, and it's very possible the young center scores first in this contest.
The Spurs center has scored the initial basket in two consecutive games against the Timberwolves. Wembanyama led the Spurs in first baskets with 14 on the season (25%). The star scored the first two baskets in Game 2 of this series.
San Antonio seems to get off to its best start when Wembanyama is used early in games. The second-year standout is having a historic first playoff run and has a better chance than most on the court to score the first points in this contest.
Victor Wembanyama 5+ Blocks (+127)
We do not usually choose the same player for two separate props in the same article. Having said that, Victor Wembanyama is special. Even more so, the young center has been nothing short of brilliant at guarding the rim - so much so that the Timberwolves seem heavily reluctant to drive into the paint. Wembanyama has already accumulated 12 blocks in one contest in this series. Five blocks at plus-odds is a steal.
The Spurs center is averaging five blocks per game in seven playoff games for the Spurs. Wembanyama has blocked at least five shots in two out of the last three postseason contests. The second-year center is averaging 6.3 blocks per game in this series.
The Spurs have an opportunity to take a 3-1 series lead heading back to San Antonio. This is a crucial point in the series, and Wembanyama may be extra invested in defending the rim in Game 4. He has accumulated 32 blocks over the previous five games.
Julius Randle Under 18+ Points (-115)
Julius Randle is averaging 15 points over the last three postseason games. The Timberwolves forward has not made more than 40% of his attempted field goals in any game of this series against San Antonio. Randle put up 12 points in back-to-back contests and is shooting 32.5% from the field in those games.
Randle finished with 18+ points in only two out of six games against San Antonio through the regular season and playoffs. The Timberwolves forward is averaging 16.5 points on 39.5% shooting from the field over that span.
This line is certainly low given the importance of this contest for Minnesota. The Timberwolves can ill afford to take a loss this evening, which would leave them down 3-1 as they head to San Antonio for Game 5. Nevertheless, this is a horrific matchup for Randle, and we feel he falls short of scoring 18 points.
Enjoy the games today. Best of luck with your picks.
