NBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (4/29)

Welcome to another day of NBA player props. If you aren't taking advantage of the BettingPros prop tools, you're missing out, but there's no time like the present for what should be a very fun playoffs.

It's been a profitable year, and I plan on continuing that into the postseason. As always, monitor any potential news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay informed about NBA player props is to stay current with the latest updates. The second-best way is to shop around at different sportsbooks. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so ensure you get the best value.

It was a tough outing last week, but you win some, you lose some, and today is a perfect day to bounce back. Let's get to the best bets of the day. Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be for a single unit.

Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Props

Last Time: 0-3 | This Season: 82-71

James Harden Over 31.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-115 at BetMGM)

I liked James Harden last time out, and I'm going right back to the well here. He is simply not getting enough respect from sportsbooks, and I'm confident in his abilities here as Cleveland looks to take back control of the series.

Harden hasn't covered this line in two straight games, but to begin the series, Harden went over this total without issue, and he covered the line in seven out of 11 games entering the playoffs. Harden has commanded a 29% usage rate in the playoffs. With the return home and hopefully fewer turnovers, this shouldn't be a line with much issue for the tenured guard to go over.

Cade Cunningham Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds (-111 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

With their backs against the wall in what might be one of the most disappointing outcomes for an NBA team in recent history, the No. 1 seed Pistons will have to lean on their star guard to take over if they expect to survive another game as the series returns to Detroit.

Cade Cunningham has only covered this line in one out of four games in this series, but he's tallied over 32 points in all four matches, so he's actually averaged a combined 35.8 points + boards in the series. This comes with pure opportunity. The Detroit defense will get a bump at home. At a minimum, the star guard should see the floor for 37 minutes of play.

Cunningham almost tallied a double-double last time out, and his usage rate should stay around 36%, so he won't need to be hyper-efficient to get there with his scoring.

Alperen Sengun Under 32.5 Points + Rebounds (-110 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

Sengun doesn’t have the capacity to take over as much as the aforementioned players in this article.

This is a line that Sengun has covered in just one of his last nine games, including the playoffs, and that game went to overtime. Kevin Durant will likely be out for Game 5, but that is already baked into the line here, and it's still over-inflated.

Sengun will likely play right around 34 minutes, which is only a slight bump from his seasonal average already. The Lakers’ defense was improved in the back half of the season, and even shorthanded, we've seen how they can contend with the Rockets big man.
