Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Props & Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Nickeil Alexander-Walker 4+ Made Three-Pointers (+140)

Nickeil Alexander-Walker is on fire over his last three games. He's shot at least 54.5% from deep in two of those contests, knocking down at least five threes in each game. He's now averaging 2.8 made threes per game, and he's shooting 39.2% from beyond the arc.

Tonight, Alexander-Walker takes on the Clippers, one of the worst three-point shooting defenses in the league. They're giving up 15.1 three-pointers per contest, and they're allowing opponents to sink 39.3% of their attempts. Both of those stats rank 29th in the league. The Clippers aren't going to slow down Alexander-Walker, and even if they do have some success, he's attempted at least 10 threes in three consecutive games.

Michael Porter Jr. Over 24.5 Points (-105)

Michael Porter Jr. is averaging 24.9 points per game this season, and on Monday, he dropped a season-high 35 against the Charlotte Hornets. He's now scored at least 25 in five of his last six games, and he's only scored fewer than 21 in 10 of his last 11. He has a high floor entering this game against the league's fourth-worst scoring defense.

Though the Bulls are favored by 7.5 points over the Nets, they're still allowing 123.2 points per game. They're allowing opponents to make 47.1% of their field goals this season, and Porter has shot at least 50% from the floor in five of his last six games. The Bulls are pretty good at defending the three-point line, as they're allowing the 12th-fewest threes per game. But despite Porter making seven threes on Monday, he managed at least 25 points in four of his final five games of November without ever making more than four threes in a game.

Ryan Rollins Under 5.5 Assists (-148)

Ryan Rollins is averaging 5.8 assists per game, ranking second on the Bucks. However, he's dished out fewer than six assists in three of his last four games. Tonight, he faces the team allowing the fewest assists per game in the NBA.

The Pistons are allowing just 23.2 assists per contest. They're holding opponents to just 44.5% shooting from the floor, which ranks third-best in the league. Rollins recorded seven assists when these teams met on November 22nd, but he was also coming off a 14-assist night at that time. Rollins isn't excelling entering this game. In such a bad matchup, I'll side with the oddsmakers who are greatly inflating the price for this under.
