Thursday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Cleveland Cavaliers at Boston Celtics
- Leg 1: Jayson Tatum Over 9.5 Rebounds (-122)
- Leg 2: Derrick White Over 17.5 Points (-142)
- Leg 3: Luke Kornet Over 5.5 Rebounds (+124)
Jayson Tatum is a rebounding machine in the playoffs. He has found 10 or more boards in 17 of his last 25 playoff matchups and finished with 11 in Game 1 on 15 rebound chances. Without Porzingis in the fold, his rebounding prowess will be needed even more so in this spot.
The most underrated player in the NBA might not have that title by the end of the playoffs. Derrick White is white-hot shooting from beyond the arc right now. He has gone 8-for-15, 5-for-10, and 7-for-12 from deep over his last three games, turning that into 38, 25, and 25 points. Again, with no Porzingis, there have been more scoring opportunities to go around, so let’s ride with the hot hand in White to get it done once again.
Alright, asking for more rebounds seems a little redundant, but Kornet has also been a rebounding machine without Porzingis. He has played 18 and 21 minutes over the last two games without KP and turned that into seven and 10 boards. In Game 1, he led the team with 20 rebound chances. The Cavs have allowed the seventh most rebounds to Centers this season too.
Parlay Odds: +525
Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder
- Leg 1: Luka Doncic Over 9.5 Assists (-142)
- Leg 2: Daniel Gafford Over 18.5 Points+Rebounds (-120)
- Leg 3: Josh Giddey Under 18.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (+100)
Luka does not look great right now, as he deals with a lingering knee issue. One thing that he is still able to do effectively though is dish it out. In Game 1, he recorded nine assists but had a potential for 20. That also came with five minutes on the bench to end the game due to the blowout. It’s hard to predict those from happening, but it’s also hard to see that occurring again.
With Luka beat up, look for Gafford to do the majority of the rebounding. He had 22 rebound chances in 27 minutes in Game 1 and turned that into 11 boards. He also had plenty of good looks at the rim and had 16 points on a 5-for-12 shooting night. He has done a phenomenal job against OKC this season, putting up points/rebound lines of 19/9 (17 minutes), and 19/15 (26) in his other two games against them.
Stylistically, it appears this is not a Josh Giddey series. He played just 17 minutes last game, turning that into a total of nine PRA. Daigneault is running a 10-man rotation in the playoffs, thereby limiting the playing time Giddey will see throughout the matchup.
Parlay Odds: +550
