We will be breaking down three contests across the association this evening on a massive 10-game slate. Things kick off in Boston, where the Cavs take on the Celtics in a battle of the top two teams in the Eastern Conference. Following that, the Pacers are in Miami to face the Heat. To close out the night, we head down to Los Angeles, where the Lakers and Clippers matchup for bragging rights in LA. Without any further preamble, let's dive right into our SGP's for Cavaliers vs. Celtics.
Friday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets: Cavaliers vs. Celtics
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Cavaliers vs. Celtics
- Leg 1: Under 233.5 Total Points (-110)
- Leg 2: Boston Celtics Over 109.5 Total Team Points (-350)
- Leg 3: Cleveland Cavaliers Race to 40 Points First Half (-105)
- Leg 4: Derrick White Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (-105)
These two teams have previously met three times this season, with Boston coming out victorious in two of those contests. In only one of those games did the score exceed 233.5 points. This total seems more predicated on the 126.8 points that the Cavs have averaged over the last five games, and not taking into account that this contest should have a tremendous playoff feel to it.
The Celtics and Cavs are averaging over 239 points combined over the last five games. However, in the last seven games, Boston has not exceeded the 233.5 total, and the Cavaliers own the lowest team defensive rating over the last 10 games. We are going to side on the lower end of this total.
Boston is averaging 113 points in their last five games and has been shooting the ball at 46% from the field. Two of these contests were at home, where they are averaging 117 points over the previous five contests. The Celtics have scored at least 110 points in all three games against Cleveland this season, and have only failed to reach that point threshold in one of their last five games.
As stated earlier, the Cavs are scoring at a serious rate over the last five games and will be looking to come out of the gate swinging in this contest. Cleveland is averaging over 60 points in the first half over the previous five contests on a shooting percentage of 48.5%. The Cavs are also averaging 8.2 three-pointers in the first half over the last ten games.
Derrick White has faced the Cavaliers in two of the three games between the teams this season and knocked down a total of 10 three-pointers. White has connected on 4+ three-pointers in 6-of-10 games this month, including the previous two contests. The Boston guard is averaging 4.1 three-pointers made in February. Jrue Holiday and Jaylen Brown are both currently listed as questionable. If either are unable to suit up, White should see an uptick in shot attempts tonight.
