The NBA postseason got off to a solid start for us, as my Miami Heat versus Charlotte Hornets +650 three-leg parlay hit last night. Tonight, I turn my attention to the Orlando Magic versus the Philadelphia 76ers and the Golden State Warriors versus the Los Angeles Clippers, as the NBA Play-In Tournament games roll on. Magic vs. 76ers Same Game Parlay
Leg #1: Magic +2.5 (-115)
The Magic enter the postseason winners of five of their last six games. Their only loss during that span was by five points to Boston to end the season. The 76ers won the season series between these two, winning the only 2026 meeting 103-91.
However, Joel Embiid played in that game, and he won't be available for the 76ers tonight. These are two very evenly matched teams, but with the Magic more complete entering the postseason, I'll take them to cover the spread and even possibly win.
Leg #2: Jalen Suggs Over 6.5 Assists (+148)
Jalen Suggs enters the postseason with four or fewer assists in three consecutive games. However, he's still averaging seven assists per contest in April, and he has at least seven assists in five of his last eight games.
Additionally, the last time Suggs faced the 76ers, he recorded 11 assists in just 16 minutes. And in his only other game against the 76ers, he notched six assists, so he enters this game with a high floor. The 76ers allowed the ninth-most assists per game during the regular season.
Leg #3: Tyrese Maxey Over 29.5 Points (-116)
The first time Tyrese Maxey faced the Magic, he dropped 43 points. Since then, he's failed to score 30 points, scoring 20 and 29 points in his most recent two games. But Maxey is the NBA's fifth-leading scorer, averaging 28.3 points per game.
Max has 29 30-point games this season, and with Embiid out, the 76ers' offense falls squarely on his shoulders, as no other player is averaging more than 17.3 points per game. The Magic rank in the top half of the league in scoring defense, but they're still allowing 115.1 points per game, and opponents are shooting 47.6% against them.
