NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Timberwolves vs. Spurs (Tuesday)

NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Timberwolves vs. Spurs (Tuesday)

With the New York Knicks sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers, there is only one NBA game on Tuesday night. The San Antonio Spurs look to regain control in their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves after dropping Game 4 by five points. Victor Wembanyama was ejected in Game 4, but he avoided suspension and will be on the court for tonight's game. Here are the best NBA same game parlays (SGPs) for Tuesday, May 11th.

Timberwolves vs. Spurs Same Game Parlay

Leg #1: Spurs -10.5 (-110)

The last time I wrote about the Spurs, they were coming off a Game 1 loss, and they ended up winning by 38 points. This is a team that doesn't lose two games in a row.

Not only do they win games after losing, but they dominate. They have won every single game following a loss by at least 10 points since the start of February. With this game being played in San Antonio, there's no reason to expect that trend to end.

While the Timberwolves won Game 4, they barely held off a Spurs team playing without its best player. With Victor Wembanyama back, I could see the Spurs winning this game by close to 20 points.

Leg #2: Victor Wembanyama Over 14.5 Rebounds (+171)

Victor Wembanyama only played 12 minutes before his Game 4 ejection, and he had barely put a stamp on the game, grabbing just four rebounds and scoring four points. While scoring has been an issue for Wembanyama during this series, with him totaling fewer than 20 points in three of his four contests, he's had no such issues rebounding.

Wembanyama grabbed 15 rebounds in each of the first three games of this series. Omitting the last game due to his limited playing time, Wembanyama has four consecutive games with at least 14 rebounds and five consecutive in double figures.

Wembanyama and the Spurs were the second-leading rebounding team in the regular season. With the Timberwolves ranking in the bottom half of the league in rebounds allowed per game, I don't like their chances of slowing down a very angry Wembanyama coming off Game 4.

Leg #3: Anthony Edwards Under 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (-167)

The price for Anthony Edwards to make fewer than 3.5 three-pointers is high. However, I can't find a single reason not to take this under. While Edwards averaged 3.4 made threes per game during the regular season, he hasn't made more than three in a single contest since March 13th. While he's missed some games since that date, that's still a 12-game stretch with three or fewer made threes.

Edwards shot 60% from deep in Game 4 and totaled 36 points, his highest mark of this postseason. Yet, he still only made three three-pointers in that game. While he's made three in back-to-back games, he didn't make more than two in either of his games in San Antonio during this series.

Plus, the Spurs' three-point defense has really improved during the postseason, allowing just 11.2 made threes per game after allowing 13 threes per game in the regular season.

Parlay Odds: +525
