Detroit Pistons at Milwaukee Bucks
- Leg 1: Pistons -4.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: Cade Cunningham 25+ Points (-193)
- Leg 3: Bucks Team Total Under 113.6 Points (-115)
What a difference a couple of years makes. During the 2023-24 season, the Pistons tied the league record for the longest losing streak at 28 games. Two years later, they just matched a franchise high with 13 consecutive wins. After dropping two straight, they’re back in the win column with back-to-back wins against Miami and Atlanta.
The Pistons are quickly becoming one of the league's toughest defenses, ranking sixth in adjusted defensive efficiency (112.5) and fourth in opponents' effective field goal rate (52.2%). They've built a great team around their young stars, and we are watching them flourish with Cade Cunningham averaging 28.2 points per game (10th) and Jaren Duran averaging a double-double with 19.6 points and a league third-best 11.8 rebounds.
The Bucks are collapsing fast, having dropped eight of their last nine games, with the only win coming against the 4-16 Nets. They have been terrible on both sides of the court; they are 28th in points scored per game (109.8) and 19th in points allowed per game (117.3) since November 15th. The only starters you can be confident in are Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Porter Jr., as they are the only two with a positive plus/minus rating during this nine-game span.
Detroit already has a convincing 13-point win over the Bucks in Milwaukee. The Pistons should have another stronghold on this matchup.

Denver Nuggets at Indiana Pacers
- Leg 1: Over 235.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 2: Nikola Jokic 55+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)
- Leg 3: Andrew Nembhard 25+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-138)
After such a great start to the season by winning 12 of their first 15 games, we’re starting to see the Nuggets struggle. They are coming in 2-3 over their last five, which includes losses to the Kings and Mavericks. Significant injuries to starters are likely playing a factor. Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun have missed time with injuries, and Jamal Murray is questionable with a sprained ankle he suffered in the last matchup against Dallas. The defense has suffered the most during this span, as its 127.3 defensive rating since November 22nd ranks last.
The Nuggets have already lost to a couple of teams at the bottom of the Western Conference standings, and they're hoping it doesn't extend to the Eastern Conference. The Pacers don't resemble the team that was in the NBA Finals six months ago because this isn't the same team. It might be easier to name who isn't injured, as several players from that playoff push, including Tyrese Haliburton, are out for the year or an extended period of time. It's showing up on the court, specifically on offense, as they rank second-last in offensive efficiency (1.041).
The Mavericks are last in offensive efficiency, but that didn't stop them from dropping 131 points on Denver. This could be another tough game where the Nuggets can't contain a bad team.
